On my way to Pat Bay yesterday morning there were no eagles in the trees on James Island Rd. but I did see one in the perch tree way down by the water on their nest property up the road on Lochside Dr. On my way back from Pat Bay an eagle was perched in the tree beside the road on James Island Rd. It started calling and another eagle called back, then I thought I heard an echo. When I looked in the same tree the 3rd eagle was in last time I was there, there were 2 adults perched side by side. All of a sudden all 3 eagles were squawking and flying around the trees. One flew off in the opposite direction of the Lochside nest and another one perched in the tree beside the road. I'm still puzzled about these eaglesRoll eyes There have been 3 there for quite some time. Click pics bigger.

A few more. I captured one of the eagles flying from the tree in the 1st pic. The eagle in the 2nd pic is a different one than in my 1st pic in the above post. You can see the 2nd eagle on the lower branch in the 3rd pic. Click bigger.

Those are truly lovely, endearing pictures, Kay.
On our trek out there today we did not see the Lochsides at allSad Glad to know they are well.

On our drive out to the airport today I saw one of the Lochside eagles perched at the top of a tree near the nest and the other one perched in the tree down by the water at the back of the nest property. No pics today Roll eyes
