Lot's of machinery heard down below and men talking very loudly.
I wonder what is going on? It is disturbing me... so I would think it would be disturbing the eagles.

Another gun shot and parent perks up...
This is very distressing. Parent is very alert and looks uncomfortable.
The sound is muted on my recordings... due to too much "home noise and such"... Sorry!!!

It appears to be lightly raining at the nest tonight.
Parent is brooding/incubating chick/egg...

Mom is doing a great job of keeping the chick and egg dry and warm as it has been a steady light rain for several hours.
BTW George and Martha are the parents' names...
I bid you nighty night Martha, George, first eaglet, egg and all who visit.
