Hey PE and Gail! Hello

I always seem to look at the cam when Mom is gone and it's Dad on the nest. And this time was no different. Titter I guess Mom is out gathering more sticks.

Good late afternoon! Hello

It's too bad GBH's have such long legs...Dad stood up and just did a nice shuggle, but all I saw was those long legs wiggling! Laugh

The sun is setting and it looks so neat on the cam. Once the moon comes up, we'll be able to see the nest better. That must be some cam! It doesn't have infrared. I think cam 2 does though. Puzzled

Not a very good s'cap, but Mom landed on the outer branch, Dad got up for a good leg stretch, and now they've switched places.

What I'm finding different between GBH's and eagles, is with eagles, mom is always on the nest before dark when incubating, and GBH's take their time, getting there sometime after dark.

Good morning! Hello

I haven't seen it yet, but Mom laid her 5th egg sometime overnight. Faint Wonder if that's it? Laura_Cornellbirds is saying it's very unusual for a GBH to lay 5. Oh boy.....

ETA...

Yep, there's 5!
