Good morning Hornby! wave

Thanks for the video beans! Grin I watched the sun set last night, but had the sound down. What beautiful sounds I missed!

After I watched your video, I noticed down the side were other videos, and guess who I came across? Humble777! Clapping I guess I never knew humble did videos of Hornby way back when...I only remember seeing the ones of Sidney. This is April 15, 2006, and our first views of Ma and Pa. Wub There was no WA then either...just the CU with that little patch of blue in the upper left, and we didn't know if that was water or sky. It was also the year the eggs didn't hatch.

Anyway, this one shows Ma and Pa at their finest...and Ma's whiny voice when she wants something. Titter I'm almost positive Humble had the ID's right...Ma is taking over the nest and Pa flies off.

Video Camera Someone seems upset

Thanks Humble777, wherever you are! hug

wave Nightowl and beans!!

Thanks for the video of the beautiful sunset beans. Someone should give that robin a tip!

Nightowl, that video of Ma and Pa was sweet. Brings back a lot of memories. Tell me this, how do you know the names of the ships passing by? Puzzled It is nice to know who is traveling near the beloved Hornbys home. Smile

Nightowl, thank you for linking to his video! We lost many videos when PutFile website was taken down. Nature Guy had over 400 videos of the 2006 nest on that site. I do appreciate seeing this video again (I probably haven't seen it since 2006!)

Good afternoon Hornby! wave

Hey Jill and beans! Hello

Jill, how do I know the names of the ships? I'm MAGIC! OK, OK, I actually go to this site to see what ships are going to be in the area.

http://www.marinetraffic.com/ais/defaul ... evel0=100#

That was posted in chat, and I'm still trying to figure it out.

Glad you liked the video! Grin

Beans, I don't recall seeing all these videos of the nest before, but I was so new to a computer in '06, I probably couldn't figure out how! How sad some of them were lost, but here's a link to Humble's channel, which I still haven't gone through. It looks like there's lots of Ma and Pa there.

*ahem* seeing the beginning shot of what the cam looked like then sure brought back some memories!

Thanks for the Sunset video Beans! How gorgeous, that is.

And now Nightowl, how do you know the names of the ships? Your video from Humble 777 thrilled me since I was not here back then. These particular eagles are such a huge part of our lives now; others do not understand, but we do.

Hi Jill!

Aha, answer posted below......must read or continue thinking you are just brilliant, which of course you are!

Hey Carolyn! Hello

Aren't those videos just special? love Humble made the best videos!

Well, I've been called 'special' too, but never brilliant! Thanks!

OK, a couple of s'caps. I'm not sure what was going on, but both were either on or near the nest, and they flew off. Intruder, maybe? (I have my sound down) Anyway, one came back and landed on the WA, which is probably is Pa...

Next thing I knew, the other one (Ma?) landed on the nest...

OK, gotta run.....
