A feeding is occurring.

In the next scap, Pa is no longer holding on for dear life on the WA. Parent is in the nest repositioning. I noticed that they shuffled down and moved side to side indicating at least to me there is an egg underneath them......

8.32
I caught my first fly in on scap! Then a second parent flew in soon after and I missed that one. Can we have some cooperation here???? Titter

8.33 Trills. Seems to be a lot of activity at the nest this am. Sometimes when they zoom in to the nest for a closer shot, either the cam tree (Gregg's) is swaying, or the nest tree, or me, or all three of us. Wooh This makes the picture out of focus?

8.37 Trills back and forth

Parent on top of Babysitting tree. How they are holding on in this wind is beyond me! Look how dark it seems!

ETA: I will be in and out today. BBL...

Hey Jill! Hello

You're probably right about the light playing a trick on our eyes.

I was thinking about what to look for to indicate a second hatch...and you may be right. I'd say longer feeding and head movements will be the key things to watch. Nodding OH...let's no talk about s'caps. I'm so busy watching, I forget to get the s'cappin' finger ready! Laugh

9:28PM AHA! Now we know who is controlling the cam! An alien! See him running across the screen? Titter

Looks like they were rebooting the computer. I learned that what looks like a fire across the water is a mining company's lights.

The aliens control the cam from 3 to 4 AM PDT. happy

Thank You beans!! This cam demands a little more scap taking skill. You have to be a little quicker at the draw. I am still practicing!! Smile

I have a program that records and takes stills (Replay Video Capture 6). But you have to click the picture you want while viewing the nest! I am never fast enough. I wish I had a program that would take pics every 3 seconds (or whatever interval one selects). The old FRAPS program I first used to record video (in 2006) did this, but overall it wasn't a very good recorder. It's primary purpose was to record the actions of certain computer games.

But you certainly managed to capture a good picture here! For me to get a good picture, I must record, upload to MM, and then take a still from the storyboard. And I am never fast enough for the "print screen" option! Oh My

I hope the Forum Guides can get together and figure out how to put a YouTube button over the post window. Perhaps one of you can get the code from an Admin in another forum that uses this software?
