Drove past at 8:30am this morning. One adult sitting on the nest. Couldn't see the mate anywhere in the area. Sorry no time for pictures today.

Glad to hear one was sitting on the nest this morning! I drove by the park on my way home from the bus depot around 2:45 pm and circled the block just to see if anyone was there. One adult was perched in the nest tree (new nest). Maybe the same one as yours Ian?? I'm sorry too, no pics,I didn't have my camera with me!

I drove by today around 4:45pm. Didn't have time to stop, but I could see one adult standing in what I will call the 2011 nest. I've set up an image which will show the "old" 2010 nest location, and the "New" 2011 location. New and Old are confusing as the 2011 nest was also used in 2009. (I think). Anyways its good to see they are spending so much time back here. From the brief view I had today, it looked like the adult might have been doing maintenance on the nest. Still I only saw one.
Here's the image (you can click on it for a larger view). The 2011 nest is right at the back of the park next to the street. It's much higher than the 2010 nest, which is probably a good thing.

Thank-you for the reports Ian and gemini. It will be interesting to see which nest they'll choose this season. We where so sad when we discovered that the eaglet didn't make it last season. It was harder on urban Eagle because he had a name for the little guy. It's good to know that one of the adults appeared to be doing maintenance with less than a month go.
One of my favorite pics is of the two of them pearched on the church cross.
Hopefully, when you pass the nests again you'll have some time to park for a minute or two and have your camera's with you.
