Located in Strathcona Park in Vancouver BC. There are two nests. They have been in the park for at least a couple of years, But I don't really know the history very well. Here's a link to the discussion on the old forum.

Dropped by again this morning to confirm the nest is definitely active. I could just see the top of the head of the eagle in the nest. The second was in the nest two trees west of the nest tree. He flew away after I got a couple of quick photos. I missed the takeoff.

Dropped in today to check on the Strathcona nest around noon. The eagle was sitting on the nest a little higher today, so it was easy to see the head. But it was raining, so I didn't take any pictures. The 2nd of the pair wasn't in the area.

Stopped in on the way home from work. Just in time to catch both of the adults in the nest having a snack. Grabbed the tripod, and my point and shoot and got some video. Just uploading them to YouTube, then I'll add some links.

Dropped by the nest after work this evening. Around 4:30pm. The pair were sitting together about 3 trees east of the nest. Didn't go to the nest in the 10 minutes I was there. Hopefully they were just teaching the eaglets to be comfortable alone. (couldn't see any eaglets in the nest, but spoke with a woman who claims she can hear them.)

Hi Ian, Great shots , Was down at strath on Sat. Found both Mom and Dad home with a little unexpected surprise that I"m calling Baby Ray. Because of the side street I parked on is Raymur Av. working in the area so hope to get more !

Great shots, Thanks for the confirmation. I wasn't able to get out at all this weekend. It's good that we have more than one person watching each nest.
