There is a really long feeding going on!
The food sounds tough - but is going down well!
Lucia is making squeal-peep noises with every mouthful - except when the parent is a bit slow - when it is a loud squeal!
Ido wish she wouldn't stand right on the edge!!

Mum started calling out - Lucia found herself right on the edge - then this other eagle came in - presumably Dad - but he was most unwelcome!
Mum kept her head down - still calling - and covered the food - and the other eagle got the message and flew off - but could hear him calling from above!
Tense situation with Lucia clinging on to a branch on the edge!!

It sounds as though there is a heavy shower now!
But Lucia is still being fed!!

Boy...You were watching at just the right time PEB!! That must have been Dad who showed up or there would have been a very large fuss. That s'cap of Lucia hanging over the edge is really scarey! Do we know how close to fledging she is?

Castor...Did Lucia fledge?? I don't see her in your last picture. I hope she didn't fall!!!
