Welcome back, Kay!

I haven't seen the eagles since the last time I posted but I met a man in the park 2 days ago who has seen them regularly and says there are 3 eaglets according to the park workers - time will tell.

Karen, I hope the park worker is right and they have at least 1 eaglet fingers crossed I have heard so many stories over the years from park workers and others who visit the park on a regular basis and I won't believe it until I see it with my own eyes Whistling I will be going to Esq. tomorrow afternoon so I'lll take my camera and go to the park.

I spent an hour and a half at the park this afternoon. Both eagles were perched on different branches of the nest tree when I arrived and they were still there when I left. I took several pictures of the nest from the end of the side street across the bay and from various locations in the park. I haven't looked at the pictures closely but I did not see any movement at all in the nest. If there are eaglets and they are small enough that I couldn't see them over the top of the nest, I'm sure both adult eagles wouldn't have been perched above the nest for that length of time, leaving the eaglets uncovered. I chatted with 2 different people who live on the side street and they both said they haven't seen the adults feeding any young. So, are the eagles still trying to fool us Don't Know I guess we'll have to wait and see and keep watching. I'll be back after dinner to post some pictures.
