Nice pictures Kay I was there yesterday afternoon but there were no eagles in sight

I got a new camera - Nikon P500 and am dying to try it out on the eagles but MA and PA Saxe Point have not been cooperating

I was at Saxe Point Park this afternoon around 16:45 to 17:15 and look what I saw!

MA and PA both at home

Pictures taken from the north path towards the nest tree. They were harrassed by a murder of crows!

The first two were taken from the top of the path looking up from the beach - only one eagle could be seen

This last one was taken from the path under the nest and the eagle on the lower branch has flown away.

Maybe you, Kay, can identify MA and PA - I'm thinking MA on the upper branch and PA on the lower branch only because of the size.

Karen, good for you Very nice pics. I would say the eagle in you very first pic is Pa.

I saw a Common Murre on the rocks at Saxe Pt. Park on Sunday and have posted a few pics on the Sidney-Victoria Eagles and Wildlife thread in the Sidney Eagles forum. Not a common sight around this area.
