These last few pics were taken from the rock bluff. Dad was back in the nest tree for the 4th time, still squawking at the crows to leave him alone. Click 2X bigger.

Wow, that last shot is really great! Thanks for all the pics, Kay. Maybe one day we will run into each other photographing the same bird Titter

wave Kay & Tanner

Kay ~ great pictures Exclaimation I was down there today and one of the eagles flew in - the crows are relentless Help emo However, I think there may be youngsters in the nest because there is an awful lot of bird poop on the bushes below the nest which, of course, could be from the other birds who inhabit the underside of the nest. It seems awfully big to be sparrow droppings Rolling on floor laughing I don't know how to tell MA from PA at Saxe Point. Please advise.
Cheers

waveKaren, I can't always tell who is who eitherRoll eyes I'm sure it is Ma in your 1st pic in your 1st post above. She is bigger, has a rounder, fluffier head, a thicker beak, and a thicker neck. I'm sure it is Pa in the 2nd pic in your 2nd post above. He is smaller, his head is flatter and his beak is longer and more pointed. Also his neck is thinner and he has a more pronounced V in front. Now that I look at my pics more closely I'm thinking the one I photographed the other day was MaWhistling

I did notice a lot more 'poop' on the bushes last time I was there but I guess we'll just have to keep watching for any little heads or wings sticking upNodding
