The hawks are wonderful to see Diane and Bev. The coloration on the ledge ones you posted is really cool. Here whenever a hawk soars over the little birds hide. i have lots of protection by the bird feeder for that reason.

Cecelia, Stuffy is still on the nest and there was a subsequent poem about him not being fed which is why he has not grown. Glad you had a great trip for such wonderful family events.

I was wondering where the one hawk was when I looked in on them this morning. Do you think the hawk meant to take off or just got caught by the wind? Up Up and Away!!!!!

Carolyn... I have more to post tomorrow. I think they are getting pretty close to fledging.

Just a real quick plop to say I have been staying really busy with Jameson, work and bowling started back last night, so really no time to post my normal novel. Just wanted to let everyone know I'm still around and enjoying reading your posts and seeing the pictures. It has been really hot here also, but strong storms coming in tomorrow night, then turning cooler. Saturday is a lake party/picnic/car show for the Corvette Club. I will be going to it so am glad it will be only a high about 83*, so it won't be so unbearable. Don't know if it will be warm enough to swim in the lake or the pool, but should be a fun day. If I can find time I'll post again soon, but don't hold your breath. Jameson had gained 3 oz when he went back to the doctor on Tuesday, so he is doing great.
