Carolyn, I have had 3 chipmunks. Scardy brought in one about a week and a half ago that I got out quickly, then last week brought one into my office that stayed overnight, now the one I allowed to come in, so I should be through. Sure do hope so. Scardy is asking for his key back to the house so he can come and go at will.Rolling on floor laughing Your flowers are pretty.

Donna, the lilacs are beautiful. We don't have them here, so I didn't recognize them.

It stopped raining long enough for us to cook out, now it is thundering again. I need to put the recycle can out on the street tonight to be picked up in the morning, so guess I need to go ahead and do it. I have a meeting for Briarcliff about some marketing we are doing that Mary Glen asked me to attend at 7:30 in the morning, then at 9:00 have to meet with the construction man at the building to make sure the framer knows where to build the walls. Then to Briarcliff at 10. Sure am glad I'm not bowling tomorrow night. That doesn't start back until June 5 on Tuesays for 10 weeks before the Corvette Cruisers start again in September.

Good Morning.....

Sara, what a relief - you have had three chipmunks! Koi Now you know you have problems if they start bringing in fish after all the rain?

Hope all y'all had a great Mother's Day or just a beautiful Sunday or both!
Have a Marvelous Monday......

Hi Friends!

Bev, that sounds like it was and it was a lovely mother's day. We enjoyed ours here also.

Texas has been beautiful recently and thankfully with cooler temps and gorgeous skies. I love listening to the cardinals singing in my yard as well as the red bellied woodpecker's call. Songbirds are definitely a joy.

And Bev, I saw a blackbird on my feeder today and sang for him - you know what I sang. giggle

Donna, I am all for a chipmunk smiley. Your bouncy weather must be confusing you! Give my loves to your grandchildren.

All y'all thinking of you - have a wonderful evening and I will catch you next plop,
carolyn

Good Morning Friends!Hello I'm back!
We had a great vacation and certainly enjoyed a lot of wildlife experiences while in Florida for over 2 weeks! I have to download my pictures to my main computer and will gradually post them for you to see!
We got back home late Sunday evening but I was so exhausted I had to take yesterday to rest up. The drive home was a good one till we got to Hampton, SC. Then the skies opened up with torrential rains that made the rest of the trip really nerve wrecking and slow! Hampton is part of the last leg of the trip that is all backroads with speeds of 55mph twisting and turning, up and down..... The rain was so hard you could barely see in front of the car so everyone was doing about 35mph. When we got home all we did was get the pups settled in, ran out for a bite to eat and then crashed. I started doing a little unpacking yesterday, but we had errands to run, bills to write out and so today I will be busy getting the rest unpacked, clothes ironed, meds picked up etc. etc. Ahhhh the joys of returning home from a realxing vacation!Rolling on floor laughing By the time I'm caught up, it will be time for another vacation!!Rolling on floor laughing

Bev you certainly deserve a special reward for all the great s'capes, reporting, etc on my nests! Thanks my friend! You really outdid yourself.
A special thanks to Carolyn for some great reporting at the Ozarks and Hellgate nests too!
This was the first time I have gone on vacation and not had to worry about them. I had my new laptop along on the trip and did look in on them when time allowed. But not having to worry about s'capes and reporting made the trip a relaxing one! Thanks my friends!!Thank You

I'll be back later and hopefully have some pictures to start posting for y'all. I think the first ones will be of the cute little yellow cottage we stayed at. Have a great day y'all!hug

AWWWW Bev... Thank you. I love the pretty yellow flowers. Vacations are fun, but it's aways good to be back home. I missed all of you too! hug

A quick announcement.... Mom Hellgate laid another egg. Whooohoooo!!!! This makes her 3rd. She hadn't accepted her new mate when she laid the first one. She either broke it or buried it. Now we have another two that will hopefully be fertile and bring us some off-spring from her new mate! Bravo

Just two sunset pictures I pulled from my laptop. Hopefully I'll have time to download my pictures to my main computer tomorrow. Have a good evening all! Tweet Dreams!
