Hi Friends.....

Yes, Diane and Bev....that is a beautiful Loon(y) nest. It is fun to view.
Have a super day!

Barbara, I hope you figure out your reversed days before Mike comes home. Enjoy your time with him (well of course you will!).
hugs,

Sara.. cute scape of Harmon too. Glad you had a nice time last weekend.

Jean... OM Goodness... a fire that close is too close!!! Have a safe trip back home.

Barbara...
how wonderful that Mike will be spending more than a short weekend at home. Hope you get to go back with him The HOG trip will be awesome!

Donna... how are you? Have you been warm there? We were sunny and 65 today. Perfect Spring weather.

Cherie..
any news on the Wood Ducks? The Mallards and Wood Ducks are still swimming around back here. I got a few pics but not real good.

But here are a few pics I have taken here in the yard the past day or 2...

Raccoon that lives in our tree in front yard. They are cute but they can be mean....

I cannot begin to tell you how many raccoons have made this tree their home through the years.

Here are some of the hawk that has nested in the neighbors yard for the past several yrs at least. This is the best I can get. If I walk closer to the nest then I cannot see up into the nest.

Those are great pictures Diane!

I can see why you have troubles with safety for songbirds. The raccoons look so cute, but I know how mean they can be. We had tons around the house at the Lake we lived on in NJ. They are very bold when they want something - such as the apple on your counter and the cat door is available to enter within. Then you have a scenario such as husband chasing out with a broom carefully. raccoon Cat door then locked......Bravo

Good Night friends.....

Good Morning

We went to Madi's band concert last night. I guess the orchestra played on Monday night and was the bigger deal. As Freshman don't necessarily play in that we did not attend. It was a fun evening and good to see Madi who is now driving with her learner's permit and doing a good job.

Barb my fingers crossedthat you will spend time with Mike in Huntsville. Glad he is on his way home or there.

Diane I loved the raccoon pics and the hawks are adorable. I would never get anything done with those in my yard.

We have a chilly day after being in the 80's yesterday....50's today and hopefully rain.

I'm off to spend the day with the kids.
