Jean I am sorry that "Jill" was not cooperating on your trip. Sounds like you are settled and enjoying the toes in the sand and the night spots.

Sara hope all the renovations go smoothly.

Bev, I know you are enjoying the boys. I hear that there are several females at the NOva Scotia osprey nest. hmmmmm. I see two eggs at the Boulder Co fairgrounds nest n of us. Dunrovin cam has been down the last few times I have looked.

I am off for the day with the kids.

Seems VERY quiet in the Hollow.

Good afternoon, friends!

Guess I've been away for a few days, huh? Let's see - - after Mexican Friday night, Saturday was pretty quiet. Sunday, I met some chorus friends in Savannah for brunch, then we all headed up to SC together. A small group from the chorus sang the national anthem (me included!) to open the Equestrian Expo at Rose Hill in Hilton Head. Then, we relaxed in the VIP tent all afternoon and watched horse jumping, a horse parade, and a polo match. We were all dressed very colorfully and several of us ladies even wore hats! When we got back to Savannah, we walked through Forsyth Park to see the sidewalk chalk event from Saturday. There was some awesome artwork done in sidewalk chalk! Here's a picture of me and my friend Renee.



Jean, so glad you made it safely to FL - - even without Jill's assistance! Don't you have a GPS on your I-Phone? Maybe you can use that on your way back. Relax and enjoy your time there!

Bev, I know you are enjoying the time with the boys! Sounds like you will be busy keeping up with extra nests for the next couple of weeks too!

Donna, hope you enjoy the day with your kids too!

Sara, glad your houseguest has finally checked out! Don't give Scaredy back his housekey anytime soon! Sounds like you are keeping very busy with that building - hope everything works out and construction goes smoothly.

Hope your day is a very special one! This is a cactus flower from the garden in our front yard in Madeira Beach. Thought it was even more special since it's yellow! Your favorite color as well as mine!

The clock may not have stuck the moment when May 2nd will appear,
But soon, so soon, in Nova Scotia that date will become quite clear.
Bev is always ahead of me, and yet behind me, and up there and out,
While we are waiting a bit behind to catch her smile soaring like a shout.

A giggle is heard, laughter transpires, the day is started with a gasp so clear, that
we wonder did we miss it, when did it happen, this moment
So perfectly framed, yet ahead of us in time,
Up there in a place so sublime bounded by water so clear and pure.

A lighthouse, a beacon, these are things that resemble the path left
By our friend, who starts our day, ends it before ours, and yet is always
There waiting just around the bend.
There is nothing nicer and we are blessed.
