Just a good morning wish to all with another of the carriages from the Steeplechase races.
I have to take Xel-Ha for his 9th laser treatment this morning so I don't have time to chat. I'll try to get back later.

Safe travels back home Diane! Hope your vacation was a great one!

Good Morning.....

Today is our 42nd anniversary - funny how time flies! I just found a beautiful card at my place mat. I am treating hubby to his favorite dinner out tonight - Landry's. It is a seafood tradition in the South.

I have loved the steeplechase photos Jean. I hope your pup does well on his 8th laser treatment.

Peggy's Cove was a joy to see Bev and your beautiful daffodils.

Barbara, I hope lawn gets mowed for you and you are enjoying your unfortunately hot weather somewhat.

There were tornados in Dallas yesterday but my family was fine - between the storm fronts. DIL said being in the bathroom was scary though.

Diane, safe trip back - that was fast!

Time to go.......hugs friends,
carolyn

Good Morning

IT is a beautiful day here. The snow will melt fast.

Carolyn I have a nephew in Mansfield and they too are all ok. It was a scary day and mom and dad were at work. Family was so happy to be together again. I so remember those days when I was a child in the Chicago area.

I will be off with the grandkids again tomorrow. I have so much to do today. So if anyone is off for the EAster weekend I wish you safe travels.

Diane it will be nice to have you back and hear about your travels.

Jean I am enjoying the carriages. I just love horses.

Yesterday I was sitting on the steps and I felt a weight on my shoulder. I looked over and Kennedy had put her head on my shoulder. She stayed that way for quite a while. Miss C sat down and started to pet her. It was one of those precious moments that you would not get on film.

wave Good morning, friends!

Bev, glad you and Agnes enjoyed your shopping yesterday. Thanks for sharing the beautiful sunset at Peggy's Cove! And your pretty daffodils too!Grin

Jean, sure glad Pitina is doing well after her seizure!Red Heart Hope Xel-Ha's treatments are helping him too. I love the pictures of the carriages and beautiful horses!Left thumb up Yes, I had my ceiling fans on high and the windows open the whole time the AC was broken!Phew

Donna, that would have made such a sweet picture - - Kennedy resting her head on your shoulder and Miss C petting her.Wub

Well, the AC is fixed!!!Very Happy However, when I got up yesterday to wait for the AC guys, I realized that both downstairs toilets would not flush!!! (I had taken a shower before bedtime Monday night and the shower wasn't draining properly either.) So, I plunged and plunged on and off for 3 hours before they got here, then proceeded to have a major meltdown!Don't Panic I tried not to call Mike, but thought I was finally calm enough to do so. As soon as he answered, I was crying.Oh the shame I tried to tell him how overwhelmed I felt (the AC, the toilets, the garage door - a spring on it exploded Saturday night, my phone - stepped on and crushed while company was here and will cost $600 to replace). Yep, I think that about covers it.Frustration I just couldn't deal with anymore. Mike was due to come home on Friday, but I told him he needed to get here sooner. He asked if tomorrow (Wednesday) would be soon enough. I said yes, but an hour later, he texted me that he was about to hit the road! He arrived around 10:30 last night and we stayed at a local hotel. I feel a bit better today, knowing I don't have to handle everything by myself. I hate that I freaked out, but I was at the end and just hit a wall and he had been away for too long.Nodding

Hopefully, the rest of the week will be better and hey, we have AC!Titter Have a pleasant day, everyone!hug
