Just checking in quickly. I was gone most of the day, got home in time to take Xel-Ha for another laser back treatment, got home to make dinner and then Don and I had errands to run. When I finally was home to stay I had to report on the Ozark nest and now am ready to crash! I am so exhausted and the rest of this week looks like it will be a "clone" of today. Isn't it the weekend yet!?? Faint

Cherie, Don and I stay in Madeira Beach just down the road from St. Pete's Beach. We always like to drive over to Fort Desota to walk along the beach. Guess when we are there, we'll have to look up high and maybe see some owls! Great pictures!

Don is improving. Hardly can tell he had Bells Palsy. Still some tingling in his face and he hasn't gotten his taste buds back fully. Xel-Ha seems to be responding to the laser treatments. Got 5 down and 5 more to go. I'll check in again when I can! hug to all!

Embarrassed
Never realized Bleu was a poster 'GIRL'....sorry BleuEmbarrassed

It is supposed to be VERRRYYY COLD here tonight..went ahead and put paper sacks over the few roses that have grown leaves in a major way..brought the outdoor plants I wintered over in the garage back in...must remember we usually have snow still at this point. My seeds for german chamomile say to plant while cold so I will try to get them out tomorrow morning.

CryMy IU Hoosiers lost out to Kentucky on Saturday....they sure gave Kentucky a good show though...I really thought they might win at the end...who would have thought that Kentucky wouldn't miss a SINGLE free throwDon't Know Next year will be our year for sure.

Sitting eagleSitting eagleGot to see Mom and Dad at White Rock together for a little while...Mom flew off leaving the nest alone for a few minutes...Yikes...sure didn't want to see any ravensDon't Panic but they stayed safe this time.

Long day tomorrow with classes and meetings from 1000am to 8pm...so I am off to bedsleepy

Good Morning Screechers.....

Cecelia, I am sorry that our Hoosiers lost. Those free throw experts always mess things up that we hope for.
Bleu does not care so no worries.......I did after name her a name that could have applied to an Old Coon Dog Blue. She wears a flowered leash and once when walking a little boy asked if she was a boy or a girl to which he sister answered "She has a flowered leash, of course she is a girl!". Rolling on floor laughing

Hi to Donna, Bev, Diane (gone), Cherie, Sara, Jean, Barb, Velma and everyone here - if I missed you please forgive me. See you around and about the forum,

I am off in a bit to spend the day with the grandchildren.

There is a second eaglet at FSV and I think it arrived yesterday. The winds were awful yesterday and did not see it until today as the parents kept the nest bowl covered most of the day.

We have a big fire near Conifer and having a calm day will most likely help, but some have already lost their homes. Little snow in March has made it very DRY here.

The situation at Richmond is not good. The James is high and muddy and there is no food at the nest since last night. Mom and dad have both been off hunting but no luck at this time. R1 is extremely aggressive and R2 has lost lots of down and has marks on head and body. I am very afraid for this chick's survival at this time . Please pray.

Hello Hello Neighbors,

Long time no see eh.....just like a lot of you, I am busy.....First my mom moved and last month we work in the house of my daughter. Maybe she move out our house next week end. Just a lot of work, nice to do but we are not used to it.......and we are not 28 anymore. But still......I got home and saw on the Decorah nest that the hatch was close. What a relax time to sit behind the comp.

After dinner I run to the computer and I want to relax......well it was exiting to watch the hatch.....I eat a whole bar of chocolate without tasting it....it was gone before I notice it Don't Know

Oh well , the video of the hatch, I have it and it take 2.51 min. click on me

I wish everybody a great sunny and funny day Grin hug

Good Evening Friends!

Have a safe trip Diane! I know you are already in Florida! Great job in getting the suitcase down to 39 pounds. Now to hope the airline scales match yours! LOL

Donna I am sorry that the food supply is scarce in Richmond. That was the same situation at Hellgate last season when two of the three ospreys died of starvation. hug

Bev,Glad you are enjoying time with the boys. I know you are keeping busy with your nests like I am with mine. Neither of us really had any "down" time. .... from one nest to another!

Carolyn hope Bleu is alright.

Anna thanks for stopping into the Hollow. I always enjoy having you here and also enjoy all your videos. Sounds like you are close to an "empty nest" at your home. Soon it will be "party" time for you and Ruud!giggle

Our little Knox turned 1 years old on Sunday. Sam and Ryan had a party for him with the theme... Dr. Seus. I think I posted pictures of the "Cat in the Hat" hats I made for them. Here's a picture of his Birthday cake!

Knox's Birthday Cake!

This evening we met Bob and Jan for dinner and to say Good-Bye. They leave early tomorrow morning for Mi. I can't believe they've been here 3 months already. It was great seeing them and getting together.

Hi to the rest of the screechers I haven't mentioned. I wish I had more time to chat, but I have some things to get done yet before it's Mommy time with the pups. Tomorrow is mahjongg so that will be another long day for me! Sure hope there is a calm soon for me!

Good Night all!

Good Morning and Hi Screechers.....

Jean, adorable cake and party theme for that matter - to the wonderful sewing whiz hatter!

Donna, I am thrilled to hear of hatch #2 at FSV. Just checked in there to view.

Bleu is doing much better. So, my vet came through again with the right treatment.

I hope all y'all have a great day......

Jean I really like the CAt in the Hat Theme for a party. I love the cake.

Nice long calm feeding at Richmond today. The 2 lets at FSV are being fed often and they are well behaved. They are wobbly yet and fall over often.

I looked in on L of the Ozarks and they were bobbing up and down.

I have a pretty free day today and have yet to eat breakfast so I need to get to that.

Miss C is 2 on Saturday and it hardly seems possible. She is very polite always says please thank you and welcome. It is cute.

The fire in Conifer is still not contained but there is little wind here so they will most likely be getting a handle on it today. IT has burned 30 homes. It is so sad.

Carolyn I am so glad that Bleu is going to heal from the dog attack. That is good news.

Bev I am sure the boys keep you busy. IT is good to see things going so nicely at WVA. I do check in but there are plenty of posters so I don't usually say hey.

Off for breakfast.
