Good Morning

Interesting cloud behind FSV nest.
It is supposed to be a nice day today and sunny sure hope so.
opps fsv ealges are hollering....both on nest and very loud alert calls. Now it has calmed down again.
This is going to be a nice day to relax and do some cooking for the week.
Enjoy your day.

Good Morning Friends!
I was MIA yesterday.... Don and I took advantage of the nice warm sunny day and worked in the yard again. It was almost a week since we last were able to do that. Got most of the trimming done in the backyard. Have a couple more bushes to do and then we will finish up the other side of our front yard. I'll have to take a picture of the huge pile of yard trimmings lining the street in front of our house. Our garbage department is supposed to pick it up at least once a week, but being private, they come whenever they feel like it. It's been at least 3 weeks if not more since their last pick up. That's why Don and I are trying to get all the cutting done so when they do come, they'll get it all!!
Love all the news and pictures y'all posted. Just don't have time to comment on all of them as Don is getting ready to head outdoors for another full day of yard work. The upcoming week is going to be one of my busy weeks. Hand and Foot tomorrow and Tuesday Don and I are going to Columbia to pick up more wine supplies and to go to the State Museum. The State Museum has cadavers that are plastisized and you can see human organs. Sounds grouse but should be interesting to see what our organs look like! Wednesday I host Mahjongg here. Thursday might be a free day and then Friday is our usual Lunch/dinner date and running errands.
This week is going to be busy at the Ozarks too as our first hatch is due tomorrow or Tuesday! When I'm gone from the house, I will need to keep a video going so I don't miss the action. Now why couldn't it have been this past week when I was home and we had rain!?
Hope y'all have a great day with family and friends! I'll try to get back later this evening, if I don't crash before that! I'm getting too old for all this yard stuff!!!

I have never seen an eagle with its wings spread out over the nest. I was not sure what I was seeing at first.

The clouds have finally dispersed here and we are getting sun. I am off for a walk.

Happy Sunday, y'all!
I too have been MIA again! Got involved in a book series and couldn't seem to stop reading every chance I got! Got the bulletin started late Thursday night and finished up first thing Friday morning, so got it out of the way. I did go outside a little bit Friday and Saturday, as they were both beautiful sunny days here. This morning, it was very cloudy and a bit cool. By lunchtime, it looked like rain was imminent. But, now, Mr. Sun is peeking out every now and then, so don't know what's in store for the rest of the day.
Still not sleeping too well. Stayed up pretty late last night thinking that when I finally did go to bed, I would surely be able to sleep! Well, I turned all the clocks ahead around 1:45 (which became 2:45 then), then tried to sleep. I dreamed a lot, so I guess I did get some sleep, but was awake again around 3:45. I tried to go back to sleep, but gave it up around 5:15 and got up and got in the shower. At least that gave me time for a quick manicure before church! So, I'm operating on about an hour's worth of sleep. I hate to take a nap because then I may have trouble sleeping again tonight. But, my eyes feel like sandpaper, so I may have to give in and at least doze for a while in the recliner.
I was so sorry to read about L'il Bit @ Sequoyah - so sad! Hope the other two will be OK.
Cherie, so sad to see the broken owl egg as well. Wonder what will happen with the other one since it is cracked. Let us know if you find anything out. Sure hope Mom is alright.
Bev, glad to hear you have had lots of family time and nice walks! Love to see Peggy's Cove - thanks for sharing it! I will have to check out Phoebe's new nest - it sounds very interesting.
Jean, love your ! He looks right at home. I agree he will look much better painted - look forward to seeing him in all his glory! Sounds like y'all have a busy week ahead!
Diane, what glorious pictures of your birds! They are so beautiful and you did such a good job taking the pictures! Thanks for posting the info on L'il Bit too.
Carolyn, so sorry about Miss L's poor little nose, but glad to hear that it's better today. I agree that wasn't the best way for Cat to begin that conversation! Glad you enjoyed your Mexican dinner. I haven't had Mexican in a while - think it's time! Maybe Levi and I will go when he comes by this week.
Donna, glad you and T had such a special sleepover. And he wanted to make pumpkin pie - how sweet! The lady who made the food for my friends' anniversary party also made pumpkin pie. I thought it was a strange choice for the time of year, but it sure was delicious! I'm sure T's was too!
Sara, you did a wonderful job photographing the moon! It's so perfect! I know the planets were much harder to get, but they are quite visible in your picture. I'm glad you were able to help your friend with your sweet words. I know y'all would not want to do without his company just because he was embarrassed at having to be fed. Sounds like he knows now how much y'all love him and treasure every moment you can spend with him and his wife.
Cecilia, hope your studies continue to go well - you're almost there!
I'm off to read/doze for a while. Enjoy the remainder of your Sunday, friends!

Good evening friends.
Jean, you mentioned the exhibit where the cadivars are plasticised. We went to a museum in New York a couple of years ago called Bodies-The Exhibition. These were real bodies that had been preserved. Don't know if plastic or what. It was a combination of gross and interesting. It also showed organs as well as full skin bodies. It was a very large exhibit in a building all by itself. Have a good busy week. It sounds like you will be busy busy busy.
Barbara, good to hear from you. I hope you are getting some sleep tonight.
Donna, that was a strange picture of the eagle in the nest with the wings spread. Glad you and Mr T had a good night together and enjoyed the pumpkin pie. My parents used to take my daughter out to eat after church on Sundays then bring her home. She would ask for pumpkin pie. Usually it was sweet potato, but she didn't kow the difference, so was happy.
Bev, have a good day tomorrow. Is this the week the boys are off for March break? I know you will enjoy them if it is.
Carolyn, how are you faring with the storms? Looks like you are still being hit. I think we are under a tornado watch tomorrow, but not sure.
It's late and I have a full day tomorrow. Briarcliff, then bowling. ABout ready to head to bed. Have a good week everyone.

Good Morning
This is a quick in and out. Glad to hear from you Sara and I'll bet your daughter loved having those special lunches. Wonder what she remembers. I have so many great memories of summers with my grandparents.
Jean enjoy your week. I know you are eager for eaglets at Lof O.
There are so many nests that are now on hatch watch and it continues for a few weeks. Finding the Sooner Lake eagles at a different tree with 3 eggs and now a hatch was really a surprise. A good one.
The cam was down until a bit ago at Richmond and it is time for a hatch there.
Barb I hope you are sleeping better.
Diane nice that you had such nice weather. We are having really warm weather here also and in March that is unusual. The weather period is unusual.
Bev I know you are on alert at WVa. I am watching there but you guys have it covered. I am so ready to watch SMitty with eaglets.
Take care all and hugs to all who come here.
