Here are some more shots of our Lake Guntersville Eagles. I changed my avatar to one of them. Thanks for the instructions Carolyn and Diane. I had forgotten how to do it, but it is really easy.
Notice the shadow on the tree trunk of the other eagle in flight.
Ma And Pa on the nest feeding the babies. These were taken in February, Guess the ones from this year are getting close to fledging. I haven't had a chance to get up there to see them this year. It's about an hour and a half from my house. I don't know why none nest in Oak Mountain State park (15 minutes from my house). There is a large lake there. The only time they seem to have any is in the rehab facility and that is really very rare. Then it is only for a short stay before they go to Auburn for treatment and rehab.
One of the parents with the classic regal look.
Jean, I was glad to hear that Don was doing well even though I wasn't the one who had asked this time. I love your hats. They should be the hit of the party. Can't wait to see your eagle.
Donna, hope you convince hubby to fix the towel bar. It shouldn't be hard to do to replace one as long as it is the same width.
Diane, such cute bird pictures. Yesteday Austin was going out the back door and commented on how many birds were in the yard. Guess they are arriving for the spring and summer.
Bev, hope you enjoyed your walk with the boys. Glad you are having some good weather. It's very pleasant here today, but I'm noticing the pollen is really getting heavy. Ah choooo. More rain coming in soon, so maybe it will wash some of it away.
Off to church to server dinner, then to the last week of the Bible Study I signed up for. After that, I'm going to run by the Boy Scout meeting and visit with some people there.
Hope everyone has a good evening and rest of the week.

Sara thanks for sharing the eagle snaps. They are beautiful with that blue blue sky.
I did get a lot done today. It was pretty nippy, but no snow. Maybe tomorrow morning there will be some on the ground.
I tried a new crockpot recipe and it is wonderful veggie soup. We really liked it. Nice for such a cold day.
Norfolk eagles had a pretty vicious fight with another female today. Sure wish things were quieter around several nests this year.
Take care everyone and sweet dreams

friends!
Guess I've been AWOL again! Had to get some stuff done yesterday, then had a soprano sectional before our regular rehearsal again, so had to leave early for that. It was late when I got home from Chili's, so didn't post.
Never made it in here to the computer today except to check email real quick before heading out to dinner. I had a Groupon for a restaurant in Savannah called Bonna Bella - out on the river, and I needed to use it by tomorrow. So, a few of us girls from chorus decided to have a Girls' Night Out there tonight! We had a great time and the food was great! I paid for my drink, meal, and 2 desserts for us to share and only ended up paying $3.50 with my Groupon! They have a lovely view of the river and lots of tables outside, where we usually sit when we eat there. But, since it's still a bit chilly at night here, we went to the upstairs inside room tonight - it has huge windows on 3 sides so you can look out over the river and still be warm!
Jean, hope the will be warm enough in the van tonight!!! You may find that he enjoys riding in the car - my bird girl sure did!!! The hats look great! I'm sure they will be the talk of the party. So glad to hear that Don continues to make progress!
Bev, glad you had some nice weather! Did you and the boys enjoy your walk? So glad you found just the right gift for your friend - I love finding just the right thing! Great to know that both Sansa & Arya fledged successfully and that they are still flying around the garden!
Sara, I love the new avatar - I sure did enjoy meeting you there and watching my first eagles! I still remember getting to look through the guy's lens that had the HUGE camera!!! Glad you were successful in changing your avatar - I, too, have forgotten how to do it!
Diane, glad you are feeling better! Love the pictures of the birds - they are so pretty! Hope you enjoyed your day out in the yard. I need to do some picking up in our yard too, but will wait until next week when Levi comes home to mow.
Donna, so glad the BR is done! Hope Papa can get the towel bar to work or get a different one that will. I agree - one-on-one sleepovers are great, for you as well as the grandkids! Glad you had a few days of nice weather before it got cold again! I thought we would float away here with all that rain a few days ago. It's pretty nice again now, and at least the rain washed away all the pollen for now.
Carolyn, so sorry to hear about Alice's fall! So glad she was OK after a hug and some TLC! You're right - I guess Cherie's owl isn't using the part of the brain that can think "outside the box"! Also, I am ready for some "flip flop" weather instead of "flip flopping" weather!
Cherie, thanks for the owl update! Should have owlets pretty soon, huh?
Cecilia, sorry that your computer is dragging. Hope it will make it a few more weeks for you!
Anna, thanks for sharing your video - it's always so nice to see you here!
Think I will go read for a while and then it's for some ! Have a , y'all!
