Great Job Ceci !!! It took me a few times to get it right. I see what you mean about the night lights at the White Rock nest. Well... how many more days? I have been trying to get the 4-5 CBC Screechers to fly by here. They are stubborn old birds! I think your email to them was a huge surprise and they were so happy to hear from you. We are glad you came and joined us here too.

Jean... how is done doing? Have you still been going to your water classes? I miss them so much.

Bev... such cool names for the hummers. They are so amazing to watch. I hold my breath when Pheobe crams her beak down their throats. I'm sure she really isn't ... cramming it... but it sure looks like it.

Donna...I certainly hope Steve will get what he deserves with getting his car stolen. We had our home broke into years ago. What a horrible feeling. And we have an alarm system and it was blaring so loud but they stilll had the guts to run down the hall and into the master bedroom and take my 2 jewelry boxes. and this was on a Sunday afternoon!

Carolyn... poor Alice... how old is she.. I can't remember. Glad she is ok.

Barbara... yes I would have to say that the Army dog tag bear is my favorite too! God Bless Paul and all who serve our country.

We will get up to 65 today! Can you beleive that for MI? I will go ut in the yard with the dogs and pick up all the little sticks that have fallen off the trees all winter. I didn't even have to start a fire this mornng. It was near 50 when I got up. I cheated and turned the furanace on just to get the chill out.

I am getting better... thank you all for asking.

I got the word from Sam that she loves the hats and embroidering names on them isn't necessary. She thinks they are perfect as is! ( One less thing to do today!)

Diane glad to hear you are feeling better. Yes, I have been going to Aqua Zumba classes on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. I was hesitant about them in the beginning, but have really grown to love them. It's a fun way to exercise in the water, but dancing! Love your bird pictures!!

Bev, hope you are doing well and the weather getting better for you! Now that Phoebe's latest clutch has fledged, maybe you can find a little more time for yourself! Have you been doing any knitting or crocheting lately? I have a couple dishcloths I started before the holidays that I haven't gotten to. One day!....

Sara thanks for asking! Don is showing signs of recovery from the Bells Palsy. He said he is starting to get some feeling on the parlyzed side of his face. Drinking liquids is becoming easier and he doesn't dribble now. I also have noticed that some of his wrinkles on his forehead are making their way back to that side. Even when he smiles, you can tell he is smiling now. Before it was more like he was frowning! It was 3 weeks this past Sunday so he is doing good. Recovery can take 3 weeks to a year!

Carolyn glad Alice is alright. Now that our kids are grown and off on their own, we are still dealing with "kids in fur coats"... illnesses, falling down, etc. But I know you are like me and love every minute of it. They sure give us lots of love and enjoyment!

Donna sorry Steve is going through such a hassle over insurance and the car that was stolen. Years ago my Uncle had his car stolen from the fenced in parking lot at work. I can remember all that he went through with that. His car was found as well and striped of everything. The final money settlement never recovered the cost of the car he lost. Makes you wonder why we pay such high premiums and we still lose out!

Donna hope you don't get too much snow your way. Is the bathroom all painted now?

Better get moving now. I called and my cement eagle is in so Don and I will stop by to pick it up. Can't wait to see it. Have lots on my agenda..... Mail out the Dr. Seus hats, pick up my eagle, run other errands, come back and sew!

Good Morning

I love the hats, Jean. The painting is done, the mirror is up and as soon as Papa puts his tools etc away I will take a pic. He bought a towel rack that sticks way out from the wall and it just does not work, but he keeps hoping I will say ok. So it may be another day or two.

It is cold here today. I so loved the last 2 days. It was wonderful being outside and the children were getting pink cheeks. The birds were happily singing and it was GREAT.

Dalaney and I decided that a Friday night one on one overnight was better this week. So that is what we are going to do.

I have much to do and nests to keep on too. Miss Norfolk fooled everyone this morning as it looked like she might be laying an egg, but not so

Just catching up on the posts. Sorry Diane.... it was you that asked about Don. I guess I was in a hurry and got you and Sara mixed up. Best to take notes as I read the posts. That way I won't get confused!

We picked up my eagle after lunch. It is really neat the way it has it's wings spread. Once Don gets one of the neighbors to help him take it out of my van, I will snap a picture for you. Wonder if I will be like Barbara hauling her bird girl around for days, weeks, months!?? Once it's out of the van then we have to figure out where it will go in the backyard. I really couldn't decided to I saw how big it was. Then comes the question if I want to paint it or leave it a natural cement cast!?? I'm thinking..... paint!
