Sara, you, being a bowler, will appreciate this. My husband bowled a 300 Wooh the other night in league. Actually, he threw 15 strikes in row. He's had 300s before, but it's been a while. He was pleased he "still had it in him".

This was a quote from Cherie.

CONGRATULATIONS to Cherie's husband!!! That is a huge accomplishment. One man in our league bowled a 299.. 12 strikes, then missed 1 pin on the last ballCry I know I will never do that good. I seem stuck between 125-130 average. Oh well, we have a lot of fun.

Good afternoon Friends!
I was up bright and early this morning but didn't have time to post. Our friends, Jim and Marie stopped in this morning on their way to Florida from Michigan. I prepared a nice lunch for them and we had several hours to sit and chat and catch up. I wasn't sure if they would be spending the night here, but they want to get as far as St. Simon Island this evening. Then continue their journey to their Florida destination tomorrow. It was really good to see them. Marie has been batteling breast cancer and had a double masectomy. She looks great and is cancer free now. Don and Jim used to work together At Fisher Body Division of GM. Bob who is wintering here in Aiken also worked together with Don and Jim. It would have been nice if he and Jan could come over today to see Marie and Jim but they have Mi company visiting them this weekend as well.

Cherie I am certainly enjoying your pictures of your Owl. I do hope she will allow you to take pictures of her owlettes when they are hatched. Have you been able to see how many eggs she has yet?? The spotted Owl I monitor usually has 3 eggs, yet the barn owl at Starr ranch lays as many as 6!

Bev, so glad you didn't get the storms there. Rain is okay, but the kind of storms that rolled through here, we can do without. It sure cooled things down though. We went from 82* to 59*. BRRRR giggle And here I was counting the days till pool time! Rolling on floor laughing
Sorry to hear the bad news about the Blackwater nest. Sure glad it wasn't one I was watching! Last year delt too many tragedies.

Sara you are doing pretty good about beating us all here in the morning lately. I saw the missing pup on your facebook. Is that one of your childrens pups or a friends?? I sure hope he finds his way home!!

Donna your snow pictures are lovely to see. I too liked the ducks in a row. But... my favorite was the snow scene with the blue sky! Glad you are enjoying your new bathroom. We still love our walk-in shower!

Anna cute capture of the sea gull slipping on the water! Always enjoy your videos too!

Barbara we have been going back and forth from heat to air. Last night I kept waking up and feeling cold. When I finally got up this morning and checked the thermostat, I saw I had forgotten to switch the upstairs unit back to heat. The air conditioner was going and that's why I froze! Wooh

We have some new pests in our yard. I love seeing them.... as long as they aren't raiding my bird feeders!!

wave Good afternoon, friends!

Hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday! I was still fighting this headache, so stayed home today and went back to bed for a while. Gotta get moving and get to the store pretty soon though, as I am OUT of dog food and the girls will not be happy! No

Bev, that is such awful news from Blackwater!!!Sad I will hope for a miracle, that the little one they saw moving will revive. So glad you enjoyed your week with the boys! Hope dad will get home safely.Nodding

Cherie, 300 - WOW!!! That is awesome!!!Cheers Tell him congratulations from me too! Glad Mama Owl is still sittin'.giggle

Donna, glad you are liking your new BR! Hope you find the right paint color soon!Titter Hope AJ had fun at the Lego Store - sure wish they'd had one of those when Levi was little! He loved Legos! So happy for Derek & Savannah and the new Egg Hatch!

Sara, it is cold here again - has been for the last couple of days. Think our weather pattern will pretty much follow yours though and warm up again during the week. I'll have to check the local weather site to see when our next storms are due to come through.

Anna, love the picture of the seagull! So funny!Titter Thanks for sharing your Decorah videos!

Gotta eat something (since I've had nothing so far today) and get shopping! Have a nice afternoon/evening, y'all!

hug

Good Evening

Grubby I am glad that he is home and that she is doing so much better. I hope your shoulder is ok.

Cherie that was quite a score.

Jean missed you today.

Bev we will be back on duty again this week with our grand kids and I know you enjoy it as much as I do.

I feel like I have been cleaning and doing errands. Not much happening here right now. It has been too windy to go for walks and I have not been seeing hawks or eagles.

Be safe and sleep well
