Friday Greetings Nesties,

Pool guy was here this morning and loaded the pool chemicals and fired up the sweep. He replaced a couple of hoses and a part in the intake. Sweep is working but we may have to replace it! Now the dishwasher is on the fritz.....everything happens at once but guess that's better than having things hitting you on a regular basis.

Anna, Fantastic pictures of the beautiful dragonfly.......unbelievably clear....such intricate wing patterns. A bright orange one (maybe he's Dutch), has been around for the last few days. I'd love to get a picture but he won't sit long enough. Tell Ruud I really like his rc helicopter...fun hobby.

Nanc, I did leave for a couple of hours over to a gf's home. I guess since you've been watching the Pirates since a little girl, I'll have to pay closer attention to the players (like I do with your Rays). they wind up winners for the season. My first team as a little girl was the Cardinals and I still have an affinity for them. All I can say about the Giants is ....SOS. I wouldn't be surprised if any day now we find out Tim Lincecum has been caught with pot again, (he loves it so).

Jeannie, Oh I'm lovin your Crepe Myrtles. I just love their shapes. Mine started blooming but kinda stopped so I'm thinking the heat is really stressing it like it is the rest of the plants. You're so lucky to get some rain...we probably won't see any for at least two months.

I believe he will too...have every confidence he is prepared.

He's been in testing lab a tad over 2 hours now...has three more to go.

Say's he'll call me on his way home this evening...tell me how it went.

Should hear from him about 7:30 pm my time.

Will be good to hear...tho he won't get results back for 6 weeks.

Has applied to several Medical Universites in Texas, one in Washington DC & other far away places.

He chooses one here...more than ready for him to be closer to home.

That will be be 10 months from now...waited long enough!

I've checked out the osprey pond cam a couple of times Doreen but do not have the patience to stare at water that long hoping to see an osprey fishing. The video showed that quite well and no waiting involved.
