Thanks Lori. So is there still a possibility BFF's tumour is benign fingers crossed

Gosh the continuing saga with Panda goes on and on. I won't bore you with more details but it is exhausting. He is a clever so and so. We went out this afternoon to visit Ma and Pa Sidney ( see link below) and I thought everything was secure for him not to get out while we were gone and when we got home there he was outside to greet us. I will have to change his name to HoudiniLaugh WhistlingBut at least he was okay and hopefully his outdoor excursion will tucker him out so he will sleep through the night Roll eyes Last night I got up at 2:00 a.m. to answer my call of nature and was wondering where he was and went looking for him. I didn't have my glasses on and I saw out of the corner of me eye something strange in the room across from the bathroom. There was my poor Panda Boy perched on top of a potted plant we have by the fireplace, motionless, looking like a statue wearing a CONE!! The image is permanently etched in my memory .Rolling on floor laughing I tried not to laugh at the time.............. Good news I think these new meds might be the ticket. I hope so Right thumb upLeft thumb up Everything crossed. And we now have kitty litter for him but I hope this is a temporary measure.............

Other good news: # 1 son 's 2 week probation went well and has been and gone and he is back in the world of permanent employment. Or as permanant as any employment is these days. He is on a 5 year contract with VIHA ( Vancouver Island Health Authority) so that is as secure as any I guess.

I have posted pix and video HERE of what will likely be our last visit to Pat Bay and Ma and Pa Sidney and their kids this season. Wink I know we all wish them well.

OutGood nightsleepySleepy TTY tomorrow. wave to everyone.

Beautiful pics and vid from today's outing elle. Smile
Great that you got to see the entire Sidney family before heading on vacation.
Congrats to your brother. (eta: I did know it was your son but had a "senior" moment) Whistling I bet he feels much better about things knowing he's set for a few years.
Good to hear Panda's new meds may do the trick this time. That's quite the picture you painted of him atop your potted plant. Titter
For those watching the kalakotkas, the word of the day is konnakotkas. Kotkas = Sitting eagle Smile

Good morning! Hello

Elle, the video of Pa and the stills are just gorgeous. Thank you for sharing those with us. We have all missed them so much this year.
Glad Panda (Houdini) is doing better now.

Scott, Oliana's wound is really responding well to the antibiotics. What dedication that they went out in bad weather to make sure she got her meds. She must know they are helping since she came right to them in the stormy weather.
So kotkas means eagle. knonnakotkas is spotted eagle. Kalakotkas then would be fish eagle. Thanks for that! hug
Your weather sounded perfect to me yesterday. Low 80s?

Hello Nestieroos Hello

Could, would, should thank each of you individually…but…at the risk of missing someone (and that would never do). I’ll just say:

Read all your nice posts…re: my vacation picture shares.
Thank You For the kind words, All. hug

Discovered I left a good one out (aren’t you lucky Laugh)…this is where / how Terry got out on those stream rocks in the beginning of his rock hopping antics:

…and…while I’m at it happy…one of the ‘perfectly dignified’ pre-doctor T at his job in the University Science Lab:

He develops prints from negatives of genes that have grown & multiplied...while under telescopic view...for a scientific research study being conducted at the school.

His professor pays him big $$’s an hour ($40.00 per) for doing that…in his spare time…now that’s an oxymoron if there ever was one…but a lucrative one.

He also had an assistant that day…called her Dr. J...ahem…I say, "An absent minded assistant"…but he says she did good.

Each print goes through a timed caustic solution x 4, then water...are squeegeed dry & hung on a line to continue drying overnight (or 12 hours) in the darkroom.

It was lots of fun learning to do that...as was seeing where he works. Smile

Who says, “You can’t teach an old dog new tricks?” Grin

Jumpies galore here...will do K-up later...
