Lori, I checked out your video of the RTH chicks and they sure look to ready to fly the nest. Very nice video my Friend.

I love your explanation icons on the Falcon chicks growth. I thought I would put together for here the past 10 days of development in photos from 5/24 to 6/2. I will be posting the photos from the past week over at the thread tomorrow. We that have been watching the Peregrine Falcons, feel the oldest will fledge this week. The same for the eaglets, the oldest should fledge this week or nest week.

Peregrine Falcon Growth Spurt from 5/24 to 6/3, past 10 days

5/24, they still have lots of downy plumage.





5/25, some dark feathers starting to show.

5/26, more dark feathers.

5/28, they are gaining more feathers and have less downy plumage.

wooohoooo we have the first Black Eagle bobble from Emoyeni and Thulane proud parents

5/31, they have lost most of their downy plumage and flapping their wings.





6/3, yesterday the oldest flew from one rock to another.
