Sorry I did not make it in yesterday, the day was over before it began. I'm heading to the Eagle and falcon nests this morning and will be checking in from both areas. The youngsters should be fledging in the next couple weeks. I will do some reading to night here at EA and posting.

Hi Nesties!

Unfortunately, I think it is time that I drop a bomb on here. I need you all very badly. There was a reason my son came in for 10 days to visit with me. We got some very bad news. My breast cancer has come back and it came back with a vengeance. The kind of breast cancer I have is very aggressive and it is also the kind that comes back. If it comes back and has spread, the outlook is bad. That is exactly what has happened. It is in the breast again, my left lung, and there is a spot on my back. We know it was not there in November when I had my last mammogram. I have also been going in to the oncologist every 3 months because I am in a research study for this kind of breast cancer. The doctors think it came on very quickly and is quite aggressive. Believe me, I know what this means since I had done the research when it first was here. The doctors and I were so optimistic that we had it beaten. My doctor has asked me to fight it. She has promised that if we get to time to quit, she will tell me. When I popped up with the statistics, she said to remember that is textbook. You will love what she is saying! She said my support was incredible the first time and she thinks that will help again. There is no cure, our goal is to get to where she might be able to control it, then hang on for dear life because there are some promising trials down the road.

I need your prayers very badly. Actually, we need a miracle. Greg asked me for one thing before he left yesterday and that was to fight hard. That is also what Amy and my friends are asking and my doctors. My fight is coming back after the initial shock.

Greg, Amy, and my friends have agreed to be with me every step of the way, and we are not crying down here. Everyone has promised me laughter. While Greg was here for 10 days, we did fun things and kept laughing. That is what I would like to ask all of you for – prayer and laughter I sneaked in as much as I could and laughed my head off. There is so much joy here on EA. You guys are hilarious!

My doctor has me on a very aggressive chemo and in about a month we will do another PET scan to see if it is helping. If it is not, she is going to try another one. We all understand where we are and what we want.

I am asking so much of you! I would not ask if you all were not so special and I am also confident you understand.

I'm glad Hon that you decided it was time cause we know how powerful this bunch can be. Miracles are never out of the question and put that on the side of a fighter and things can happen no one saw coming! That is my wish for you and all who love you which is a very very long list from family to friends!
