Between Stanley Cup playoffs, Memorial Cup playoffs, Blue Jays games, MOW, yard work and (mostly) sheer laziness, I finally check in. Not going to comment on everything but will on some things.
I know this is going back a number of days but better never than late, I always say....
{{Iona}}, thanks for the birthday wishes.
{{Starry}}, thank you for your lovely birthday collage. Well, you know how quiet we Geminis are.
Linda, A&W Teen burgers have always been my favourite burger. Yes, it would have been good to have some company on the ride and for lunch after the ride. I hope that dangerous dog situation has been resolved by now (I have not read anything on this site for over 1 week) Super shots you got of the Peregrine parents and now the chicks peeking out!
Karen, thanks for the Turtle card for my birthday.
Judy, I'm always mixed up. Guess the YalitlRANGERS didn't quite make it! They had a Devil of a time in New Jersey. At least I won't have to look at Torturelly's smirking, smug face anymore this year. Thanks, but I would rather go to Hornby in a month with better weather. Won't have time on this trip to go there.
Lori, I will take 5000 copies of the calendar for $2.55 since it is cheaper than the $3.50 (and you only get 1000 copies for that enormous sum of money!) Cool pics of Ezra and his mate Big Red and the chickiepoos. Sorry to hear about your brother. Man, it just never ends. Maybe Big Red knows Robins carry West Nile Virus and she wants nothing to do with them on the nest!
Scott, sad to read about the death of gentle Jo. Seems like the people in Eagles Nest Township are more informed than most and are doing the right thing. There was a Bear shot in Burlington a while ago. Now everyone wants to know why the cops killed it without attempting to get a tranquillizer gun. The cops said they did not have time to react as it was close to a school. Apparently this is the same Bear that was in Milton 3 days earlier - they tracked it for 3 days to Burlington! But there was no time to call in the Ministry of Natural Resources who relocate Bears all the time. I think it is time for a cull of stupid people. Last nights game was a little more skilled for a nice change this year - but still too many calls being missed/ignored by the refs. Wonder why they don't get suspended for poor officiating? Did you just start being cynical or have you perfected it over the years like I have? You rebel -when BC Hydro simply cuts off your power, will you get on board then?
Sue, thanks for Marlene's prayers - keeping you in my prayers too. Great to read that this chemo is not as harsh on you. Nice Snapper you have there! Linda can tell you how good I am at handling Snappers.
Candy, cool video of the Osprey fishing. My friend Ron and I were watching one do just that at his house on Monday (yes, he is back from Minnesota and we had our fresh Rainbow Trout again).
Anna, good to see Ruud dressed up in his birthday suit for Starr's birthday!
Tweets, nice pics from the bird Sanctuary. That is the only way I get birds in focus (only if they are wooden replicas). Thanks - I had a birthday?
Bev, thanks for the birthday wishesand the NS collage - I didn't know they were late...I had a birthday???
Kathy, that looks like a Tern in with the Black Skimmers - you know what they say....one good Tern deserves another! Good to hear the toenails weren't spicy, the beer comfy, the wings cold and the recliner was pink.
End of page 151 - time for some BBQ Rainbow Trout with snow peas and wild rice.

By Royal Proclamation!!!! I, Queen Beatrix, Queen of The Netherlands, do declare that today May 31st, 2012 is Anneke's Day throughout my entire kingdom. And, in most of the U.S. and Canada because I'm cool with those dudes.

Let us all gather together in the traditional Dutch Birthday celebration chair circle and drink, sing, and dance to some great music, like Abba.

Eat, drink, and be merry! Let them eat cake! Oh, wait. That was for someone else, somewhere else. Nevermind...
With lots of love and three cheek kissy kisses,
Kat & Lance
HWF Member since March 2006.
