That was a wonderful memorial to your mother Gord but am I too understand that due to the ground being frozen in the winter months in Ontario....your beloveds are stored and not put in the ground until the spring thaw. My brother Terry's ex wife's mother died in January and she went there to make arrangements to bury her mother for the spring thaw came home and just reutrned last week to bury her mom now that the ground has thawed there...it seems bizzarre to me because here we bruy them within a week or less after passing. Puzzled Anyway sorry for your inconvenience that they would have to have a second ceremony to bury her you must be devistated.....but your poem or eulogy was very emotional and wonderful for your mom's memory....God speed you GF hug

Annie that reminds me of the Delta nest a few seasons back when pa Delta brought the teddy bear into the nest for his two eaglets

Lovely sunset pictures Anna:thumrht:Left thumb up

Glad your back Jean we missed you hug

whewwwwww now that I'm kinda caught up I wanted to add to Grody....reading your letter brought back my brother Bills eulogy I had to do. It was really hard and I was bawling while reading it but had everyone in stitches. He had a thing for Swanson Chicken Dinners and if you opened his freezer that's all that was in there. If he wasn't eating those it was KFC. I went on about all that while crying but I guess it was hilarious. Good remembery and sad one too for me, so thanks for that too!

on top of covering the RT's I had Eldon in one door wanting his food and BFF in the other wanting his food with both being different! Life got pretty hectic with that on top of BFF bringing in my supplies for the weekend but I'm ape free and wooooohooooooo to that is all I have to say! Clapping

Judy! the ospreys brought in a teddy year before last too!! very cute Wub

Kath I sooo loved the pic of your pretty kitty! I kept it but can't remember his name???

sweet dreams {{{{{{{{{{Nestaculars}}}}}}}}} see you all tomorrow. Extra mantles to all nesties and family members that need them hug sleepy

Cool that you've seen the albino dove hanging around Naoma. Smile
Hope you're able to get a few pics.

Nice collage of the RT chicks and meal Lori. Smile

What a wonderful eulogy for your Mom, Gord. Smile
Beautiful story that Sandy shared with your Mom bursting into song like that.

laura_cornellbirds was saying most GBH's only have two chicks survive each year, but this pair has successfully raised 4 each of the last 3 years (I think).

Just a quick note. I got a good look at the item in question and it IS a stuffed toy.
I do remember the teddy bear Elle and that was so special. It was retreived as
I recall once the season was over.

I can't read back until later tonight or in the morning....shooting for tonight.

Good evening! :hello:

Everyone have your requests in to Ruud?

Anna, beautiful pictures of the birds. Great that you got it with nesting materials too!
The pictures of the sunset are wonderful. I love them. love

Linda, big hugs for you, Gord, and Kathy! Have a wonderful trip.

Scott, trying to work up enthusiasm for a team.
Laura posted that she wanted us to use those pictures of the pips so I did, but I took a s’cap of her message in chat. Do you think I should post the permission? :dunno: That is why I put the copyright message, but someone who doesn’t go there may not understand that. It is just so great that one of the pips is in the dented egg.
Would you mind bailing me out if I go to the Slammer? Titter

Naoma, thanks just got mine in.

Lori, that # 1 was a busy little thing today, filling up at each meal, and knocking the other 2 over. Great collage. Left thumb up

I just found this and realized I had not posted it! From probably an hour or so ago! Somebody wipe my chin. Whistling

Lori, Nancy, Naoma, Judy and Scott - thank you all for your kind words. hug

Lori, glad I could bring back some sad/happy remembories for you, too. Wub

Tex, all of the speakers were wonderful today and everyone was complimented on theirs. It was a beautiful ceremony. But thank you for loving words. Wub And I get so used to using the emoticons here that it seemed right to add them, as people were chuckling at some of my comments. Titter

Judy, my Mom was cremated back in January right after she died and her ashes were placed in the urn we choose. We held the ceremony now when the weather is better, to allow people who had to come a long way the chance to do so and not have to drive in winter conditions. So it had nothing to do with the frozen ground (they bury people here year round - backhoes don't care if the ground is frozen or not). The ceremony we had today in Oakville was a central location in the GTA for everyone to attend. The interment tomorrow is in London, which would be a lot further than everyone would want to drive, especially the older relatives. It will be a simple ceremony of placing Mom's urn in the concrete vault beside Dad's urn. Smile Thank you for your concern and compliments. Wub I know everyone thinks I like to wear dresses, but I don't think I am your GF! Wooh Chin

Scott, thanks. Sandy didn't think it was too great at the time but she will look back at that memory fondly.

Annie, I thought that was a stuffed bear or something similar. No wonder they found it tough to eat! Titter

Nanc, I have my request in, even though I will have to miss another show. Oh the shame And I don't know if it is Flower Power but it will be appropriate. Whistling But the reward for missing the show is I get to stuff my face at a Chinese food buffet after the interment that we all used to go to in London. Mom and Dad loved the place so we thought we should go there tomorrow for lunch to remember them. Smile Is there anyone left to cheer for now? Puzzled Oh yeah, The Nashville Coyotes! Or maybe the Phoenix Predators! Rolling on floor laughing

Another early start to the day tomorrow so have a great time at the show. LOL

Linda and Kathy (great shots of your kittie in the suitcase! Very Happy) - look for me doing this in the airport. wave
