Yes been watching "as the nest turns" Wow a new female showed up a real beauty this time and the mods are debating is it #2 back for her man or a new female eagle trying for the talon of pa Norfolks love making :question: and where is #4:question: They are also debating whether he was mounting her or fighting her to get off his nest as he ran the original #2 from the nest when she produced no eggs earlier in the season But they talked and finally flew off together and no one really knows who she is as they will have to play a few video flashbacks to figure it out. I've come to conclusion my opinion Dede that this studly male eagle will get lots of nooky but no eggy's this season if this keeps up. Yes eagleholics up to #5 "as the nest turns"

Hello Friends, Another busy fast moving day. I spent the morning at Horseshoe lake and saw some beautiful birds, caught videos and photos that will post at the thread later this week. Then I went home and cut the lawn. Then I picked up my dear sister Lynn and we went to Stacy's for a very nice visit. We sat under the pavillion and enjoyed the beautiful first day of Spring. Then Lynn and I met Mike, Lynn's hubby and just like a brother to me, at Cracker Barrel. Wow, what a full day of Joy!!!!

Lynn's Surgery is at 10am so I will meet them at the hospital at 745am. Thanks Scott for your best wishes, that is neat that you remembered her name.

Dede, I'm so sorry to hear of Tess's fall and the oral surgery she will be having, thank goodness that it is her baby teeth. She is in my prayers my friend.

Dede, We call this a Tulip shrub, not sure what the real name is. It is another flowering shrub we planted when they moved into the house.



The woods around the house have flowering Red Bud Trees too.


And last but not least, a Great Blue Heron with a large catch. I have videos and photos of this beautiful bird at Horseshoe Lake.


I just watched the first episode of Frozen Planet, it was wonderful!!!!!

I will touch base tomorrow, the hospital is right here in Maryville so I will return home at times tomorrow during Lynn's surgery and post op.
