oops power went out for a while around 1:40 PM just when I was getting ready for the show it cold booted my computer so I missed the show back on now though after a defrag

Woodpecker on the local hydro pole after the men had to climb it to return the power to the neighborhood


Sorry you missed the wind storm Scott scarey at times as it was almost like the wind storm that shut down Stanley Park in December 2006 and they closed down the park again today....check on the local Global news tonight

You got it bad too Elle baton down the hatches 90 to 95 kliks is scarey to me but its pretty much died down now you don't want to get it out in Chilliwack Scott

Well, looks like Female #4 at Norfolk has ingratiated herself. I am slow to warm up to her; she's no looker! In fact, I think there is something of the "parrot" in her face...

Can't believe 3 days ago this behemoth (she is BIG, with a large "botox-beak" ) was violently fighting with Dad Norfolk and #3 female. And now he's nuzzling with her etc. He tried to mate with her, but as far as I saw she was complaining of a headache.

She has spot on her head.

Ac/heat serviceman was here today and the problem is a faulty switch on the unit which he has to order....of course! He'll be back "in a few days". Morning lows haven't been too bad...40s and 50s and days in the low 70s.

Anna, I always feel kinda sad when I can't make at least some of the show. That's when the serviceman was here...threw me off schedule for everything.

Very weird incident Linda. You can't go anywhere or do anything that "eyes" aren't upon you. Technology is wonderful but has brought unwanted attention to every one of us. That guy may have been harmless but just think, he was able to track you and even get your name...just plain spooky. I know you will be extra careful when you are out alone.

Hi Elle, So happy Yardley has a new nest. I love you for taking care of he and Panda. I do, I do remember James...sweet picture of him. I'm so far behind here but I know you posted pix/vid of beautiful Ma & Pa. Viewing those is on my must do/see list (getting longer by the day). Sorry about all the wind damage around there. It was ferocious at White Rock this morning and it's still windy there.

Iona, I've been keeping up with the news from your town and pray for all the families and the student recovering. This should never, ever have happened! D & D are doing good. They spent a day away building their nest I'm sure but they are back.
