:hello:

No Red ...just checkin in.

Haven't even read back yet...keist I'm bout dead...a peaceful & happy dead...that is. Smile

Today's weather report...T-storms...some possibly severe...hail expected around 3 pm...say what?

My one and only 4-wheeler...is sitting in the driveway...no hope of it being allowed in the garage...
too much stuff (spelled however you like) piled up in there.

Unless...Chin...I get off my bass and get busy. I did. Don't Panic

Took 5 hours...that was with Wub Megan Wub stopping by and lending a hand!

But...van is in the garage now...door completely down. LOL

Notin' happened with the weather...just some wind...cooler temps...and rain. Rant

Not really cussin...happy no bad weather & glad the deed is done. Phew

Now...if...this old bod will agree to get outta bed in the morning...I'll see ya then...if not. Whistling

Wishing everyone a nice evening & sending hugs.

{{{{{{{{Nesties}}}}}}}}} love no red outta me tonight either. I started out full of good intentions on being behind but they all went down the drain. Between NCTC, now baby chublet and the NBG drama I think I'll be nixing 2012 season too. While I agree with Scott that there's so much good stuff the pain is just too much with the bad stuff for my heart. It's why I couldn't do what Linda does or Doreen does...I don't do loss well. I was thinking this afternoon how we were the eagles downfall and now that they're rebounding in such a big way...the next downfall may be of their own making when eggs are lost and nests are fought over instead of reproducing. It's all very sad and I hope I can sleep some it off. Even watching Jewel's sweet cub didn't really cut through it.

I wish you all a good sleep filled with sweet dreams. Extra mantles to Judy and all who loved Baby Sequoyah and his wee fighting spirit hug sleepy

extra extra mantles to {{{{{{{{{Sue & Steve}}}}}}}}}}} Wub

Ah! Judy and everyone. So sorry about Lil Bit. Here we go for another season of watching nature and the inevitable joys and triumphs it will bring but also the heartaches and tragedies, too. It is a very tough world out there for all wildlife. We know that and we kindred spirits try to do what we can to help. It is sometimes hard to watch and always hard to bear but that is life (and death) in the natural world. Try to remember that because of this incredible technology we are so privileged to be able to watch nature like never before and because of that sometimes we can intervene and help and other times we just can't and we have to grieve, accept and resolve to try to make it better for our wild creatures if we can.
The other day a friend of mine who works in wildlife rehab texted me that a bald eagle in their care had coughed up a pellet that contained an entire ladies razor !!! Thankfully sans blade but still..........we have to think about what we throw out and flush and the possible impact that might have on others.

Judy: I saw a new episode of Hope for Wildlife on Oasis on Tuesday night. But it was recorded last Spring.!! At the end of the show they showed scenes of Hope and Dr Barry on the ferry from Vancouver to Vancouver Island. I know last summer they visited OWL on the mainland in Vancouver/Delta and also WildArc in Metchosin/Victoria here on Vancouver Island and I believe they also went to MARS up island in Campbell River. So, I look forward to seeing those episodes. I programmed the PVR to record all new shows and now I have 11 shows in that folder Puzzled I'll have to buzz through them or have a marathon HOPE weekend when it is rainy and cold! Oh My I'll let you know.

NestiesWub

Pretty daffodils Linda...wonder how the bulbs got there.

Wow at the talon lock photos Lori. Hope you get down to new friend Louise's place soon for photos for us.

Scott - I just lovvve the sweet cubs and mom Jewel goes without saying.

Lori - Those are my exact thoughts but something I read made me think of that. Personally, if I never hear the issue again, it'll be too soon. Dad gives me the giggles all the time doing stuff like that.

Nanc showed up.......HI Nanc.hug

Nice moon shot Judy!

Very nice poem Dede. Loved the Eagle Whisperer and Hazel made my heart skip a beat.

Cute little Dalmation morning card Laurie.

You are right Lori about one less thing to worry about. I made pretty quick work of it though...it's a washer/dryer for cryin out loud, lol. It means chore. It is so different than I've had. The impeller instead of agitator was appealing and the tub is stainless steel lined. All the buttons! It must have 5 or 6 chips in there for all the c**p it performs. I'll get use to it.

Hi dear Candygirl.

Hi Tweet - Can't wait to see a picture of your backyard eagle. I missed your "wipeout"...hope you are ok.

Hi Anna. How's your Mom?Red Heart

Linda, I am still so elated at your win and I know you are on Cloud 9 Clapping @ 500 big ones! Wanna share? I went and looked at some of your photos from you last outing and they are just so wonderful. I didn't dare stay right now or I'd never have dinner.

Hi dear Elle.

PhewJeannie - glad it's done and you had help from Megan! Think you'll find out tomorrow what muscles you haven't been using?

I need some dinner!

One thing before I go. I have avoided the tragedies out of self preservation. Just reading what has happened makes the tears come. I'm so sorry for you Judy and all who watched this baby:cry1:. They take a little piece of us and then........

Here's my moon from last night. I have no idea why it looks pink. There were two like that. The second one was obviously a mistake...didn't know my own strengthWooh I thought well, it's kinda interesting so I'll keep it.

Hi Nestmates
Y'all may have already seen this video, they have played it
on at least 3 local news stations here. Very heart warming.

If 30 Dolphins where going to get stranded on a beach, I'm
glad it was this beach in Brazil. Check how the swimmers &
sunbathers come to the rescue of what could have been a
terrible scene.
