Good Morning Friends,

Ma or Pa Decorah is in the snow again this morning. We have some more bad storms heading this way as the colder air is coming in from the north and hitting the 50F weather we have now. Eagles in this area incubating will have another rocky day in their nests. It is the still before the storm right now.Smile

Scott, great photos from your outing yesterday my friend.Left thumb up Mud and rocks was holding my car together. Titter

That Locks and Dam photo must be from the past, the buildings on the right of the Locks and Dam are no longer there. There is grass and a bike trail, also there is a very nice museum there now. Positive changes.Nodding They have a viewing area of the locks and I will have to go in the museum and check it out. When I was a youngster there were tall observation stands you could watch from. They have a few now, but they are very short and not a great view.

Well the sun has just come out to wink at me, but I know it is just a tease today since there are storms all around this area. A good day for laundry and house work. Sad

Just saw Jean and the loving Doves, very sweet. Red Heart:hello:

Tweet, Great phots of Knox, I love them and the one from yesterday.Left thumb up The Ozark pair was really lucky they were spared, the tornados and strong winds went through that area. Thanks for the great captures.

Scott, thanks for the link to the bears and that is a wonderful capture of one of the cubs, CUTIE PIE!!!!! Red Heart

Judy, Thanks for your captures too GF.Left thumb up

Off agian I go Hi Ho Hi Ho. Smile

PS I added a few really nice HD videos to the Eastern Bluebird at Bird Talk.

Dad Norfolk must be nostalgic for his customary pattern of life! I really am sad, considering his eaglets were torn from him last year, that he is apparently not going to have offspring this year. :cry1:

Here he is this morning, "faux brooding" :ds:

Yes Dede but the one that kept coming back is only 4 and needs another year to lay eggs.....my opinion....so pa Norfolk might have been primming her for next season as he has had two mates pass away in a year so he may want to relax a season........my opinionSmile First he had ma Norfolk who died and then he had his 3 siblings taken away and then another female earlier on that disapeared and they say down that way that she was the dead female eagle they found.:cry1:
