Letang’s injury capped off a perfect day. The Steelers released Hines Ward. We all knew it was coming but hoped the Rooney who is running the team would remember old, old Mr. Rooney and what made the Steeler Nation happen. This Rooney is not made of the same stuff. Any fan who says it is a business and blah, blah, blah, is not a true fan. When the rest of us did not want to have Ben even show up, they had Hines walk him out to avoid a lot of problems. Can you tell I am on a rant??? Sorry.

It's been a rough week, but the girl that was shot has been released from the hospital. The 4th boy is still critical, but there is optimistic he will recover. The bullet he got in the back has caused trama to the spine, but doctors think he will get feeling back with time. Right now no feeling from the waist down.
Students marched from the square to the high school today. David went to the bank & was caught on the other side of town during the march. It was a good way for the kids to start the healling.

Elle Breaks my heart to think someone would cut down tthat tree with the nest. Hope the community makes him feel the heat. I also hope they can build another nest in time for eggs.

I want to thank all of you for your kind words & candles in support of my home town. It means a lot to me.

WOW Texas beautiful tigers but she's better watch her face.....I saw on the news yesterday a talk show pet host got bitten on the lips and nose by a bull mastif that the firemen had rescued from falling into the frozen lake and she was interviewing them on her pet show. ....poor women face is pretty messed up

I think it's too short of time Iona but maybe with luck the eagles had another nest somewhere else like a lot of eagles do like Einstein and Elsie "The Ozarks" they have a second nest tree close by the first one .... and keep the faith healing takes a while

Billy...Sonja and Jayden are here until March 10th when they leave for a trip to Hungary to visit with Sonjas mom...so I will miss them for three months....so I'm taking oodles of pictures of him before they leave

Also I caught my son Landon's bad cold and feel miserable so I'm off to relax and let Gary cook for me tonight.....pork chops and gravy and mashed potatoes....would sound good if I wasn't sick but I will try to eat let me go get a Avil Cold and Sinus so I can sleep as food doesn't appeal to me right now
