Sunny and 23 degrees here.

Dad relieved mom at 6:46 and she relieved him at 9:18.

9:52 there was an egg roll.

Yippee now two here too! Congratulations Virginia and James! I love those names.......

Mom is incubating and all seems quiet at the Richmond nest.

11:22 She rolls the eggs.

11:47 She begins calling for dad.

11:49 They have a change in shift. Dad settles quickly and pulls up bedding. Good view of both eggs again.


I am off for an hour or so.

Sunny day with temps in the high 40's.

The eagles had a more routine day today. Dad gave mom several breaks. No third egg today and the eggs were rolled about every hour give or take a bit.

Things are pretty quiet at the nest today. Mom and Dad have been exchanging duties. They are eating away from the nest. Both eggs are being incubated most of the time. They seem to roll the eggs about every hour.
