BRACKENDALE: If I forgot to have this posted earlier, I apologize. All of January is the month of Brackendale's great weekends of eagles, tours by Tor and always an astonishing group and variety of conservation lectures. The Sunday is usually devoted to an incredible variety of music events. Again this year the region is having low salmon returns. Let's hope we get rid of the salmon farms and start to grow salmon again in the majority of our rivers.

CONCRETE, WA: This is a revitalization of their earlier Bald Eagle Festival but now held earlier in the year. I will be presenting at Concrete at 10 AM on Saturday, January 21. This will be a new presentation "Salmon, Eagles and More".

With our Harrison -- Chehalis eagles now leaving due to having eaten out the available fish carcasses, it is likely some of the 6000 plus eagles of our area will have moved on to Brackendale and Concrete in search of dinner.
