I'm delighted to be able to tell you that this cam is now on for the 2012 winter!
It shows an area of forest where food is left to help the White Tailed Eagles survive!
Though, of course, you can expect other raptors and the crow family as well!
Even a fox
"The feeding place is in the Silma wetland area in western Estonia. The NGO Silma Wetland is supported by KIK, the Estonian Environmental investment Centre."
Here are some videos from a previous year
Don't forget, Estonia is 10 hours ahead of Vancouver.

The cam is here
This is a Pan Tilt Zoom camera - which will be operated by Mutikluti

The Looduskalender forum is HERE
This feeding does not in any way make the birds tame - in the same way as your bird feeder doesn't!
Stuff leftover from the hunters - anything that dies in the forest - and especially road kill is dragged here - so when the eagles scavenge - as eagles do - they do it within sight of the camera - and a lot more safely than on the road edge!
This area is really a wetland - they have to wait for the Winter freeze to install and start the camera!
But this year has been milder and stormy!

Thank you Pat B for the heads up that this cam was on & to Castor for the first s'caps.
I enjoyed last year's viewing very much and I'm sure it will be just as interesting this year.

Thank you, Castor
This does not look good - they need that area to be frozen!!
Hopefully the WTE can find their own food while it is thawed!
