Hi Kay, we do see a lot of eagles from our house. Smile
When I get up in the morning I look around with our binoculars
and hope to see some Sitting eagleSitting eagleSitting eagle.

1pm the wind is getting up and I was lucky to see one of our Stalashen eagles fly from the nest and
have fun soaring and diving down by the water.

:hello: Good wet and very windy morning here! Marg, how has the nest been tolerating all this wind we've been experiencing? You and Mr. SC were going to check it yesterday! fingers crossed

Hi Sandra, the nest looked o.k. through our telescope, we didn't drive in as nobody was home when we checked. It's extremely windy today - lots of whitecaps on the water - it looks o.k. from here. fingers crossed
Will report in later.
:hello:

:hello: Finding ourselves near Kinnikinnick yesterday David and I decided to check the nest there. It is still in the tree, but no sticks nor fresh poop below. Sad We did however see a dozen eagles, young and adult soaring high and low over a field while on Sandpiper so there must be a few nests in the area up there. Clapping

Glad you went up to the Kinnikinnick nest maybe this year we'll see some action.Grin

Earlier I saw both Ma & Pa Stalashen in the nest tree but by the time I got my camera they had both gone.Sad

4:11p.m. saw this local eagle at the top of a favourite tree, it had it's wings like this for a long time. Not a good day for pics really.

:hello: Marg, great pics for the day we had here! That looks like 1 wet eagle, like the one that sat in the field at Kinnikinnick eating the Canada Goose in the rain then had to dry out in a tree, wings hanging like that. Yours might have been down on the beach chowing down in the rain. :dunno:
