Thanks Tina, I agree with the bundling up bit but I had taken my gloves off brrrrr my hands were cold.

Good spotting and captures Marg! It was Jan last year we got some good shots in the park. We've never seen a Great Blue in a tree there. That is special.

Good pics of the eagles & heron Marg I bought a neat pair of gloves that convert to mittens. The end part folds over and the finger parts don't cover the entire fingers. You can fold back the mitten part when you want to hold your camera and then fold the tops over and you have mittens

Hello Sandra and Marg and Earl, too: Sandra: Enjoyed the photos of the eagle landing. The eagles really like to shriek in these instances. Marg: Always enjoy the telescope photos. We have a scope in our kitchen pointed at the top of a fir tree where eagles land. It’s always nice to watch the eagles on a cold and a snow day in the comfort of your home holding a cup of coffee. By the way, are you seeing any snowy owls up your way?

Sandra, I remember when you got some good shots of eagles in the park in January last year.

We met a young woman at the beach, enjoying the day and watching the eagles and blue heron with us, so I gave her HWF website. I do hope that she joins and posts, I also told her about this thread. Hi Angela if you read this.
