July 21, 2012.

Haven't seen Pacer in the Stalashen nest at all today.

Walked at Davis Bay Beach and saw one eagle on the beach near where the creek flows into the ocean, possibly Ma/Pa Stalashen, it flew off in the direction of the nest. Click 2X

Good afternoon everyoneHello.

July 26, 2012 7:20a.m. Looking through the telescope at the Stalashen nest I saw either Ma or Pa on a branch.

We drove to Halfmoon Bay today and saw one of the Shoreline eagles, Ma or Pa, in a tree across the road from the nest and one juvie on a branch & one in the nest.Clapping As we passed the Seaview nest I could see one eaglet/juvie at the edge of the nest - not sure if this one has fledged yet - so we have proof that there was at least one eaglet this year.Cheers Also saw Ma Seaview or Pa in a tree on the opposite side of the road a little further along. On our trip we did see another mature eagle from yet another nest.Don't Know Larry you are right, we do have a lot of eagles on the Sunshine Coast.Laugh

Finally managed to get this video that Dawn and I got from the marsh nest on Fri. prayer to the football game.Titter Sandra,Sorry that Fred and I weren’t able to find you any new nest this time(Dawn knows how to use the bino’s),but it sounds like Marg has discovered a chick in the seaveiw nestRight thumb up and Hopefully you can still catch the Chaster eaglets(shifty and rogue) branching and fledging.Clapping Sandra we hope that you and your niece enjoy your nest tour tomorrow.
Marg and Mr.Sc so glad that things are good hug,Looking forward to seeing the both of you at the FVBEF... if not sooner.

Hello Good morning all! Some great pics Larry and Marg and your video Larry of both our marsh eaglets before they depart leaving us behind. Cry Sorry we missed your second visit here. A deep sigh It sounds like our eaglets cooperated if not the weather!
Took our niece and my sister in law on a bit of a tour Wed Aug 1 as planned. Interesting there were no eagles to be seen at the landfill! Oh My How quickly things change in just a few days. We did visit Pacer in the nest tree with a parent and saw Sketchy and Rogue perched in the nest tree, then one flew out of the tree and around back to the nest when the parent arrived, possibly with food. We heard them both calling, know at least 1 has fledged. Cheers That was all we had time for with visiting the newly painted mandala in Roberts Creek. I did spy an adult eagle in the distance in a perch type tree to the right looking from the pier. Left thumb up First time I've seen an eagle there! Right thumb up We also booked a float plane tour for tomorrow at Porpoise Bay but no eagle sighting there. Sad By then teenage niece wanted to visit a store in Sechelt Roll eyes and nest touring was over. I truly want to check out our marsh eaglets tomorrow while there for the seaplane tour.
Pictures were taken but must await the hundreds I am sorting through from son's wedding in July.
So as of Wed Pacer was still around with at least 1 adult. Clapping
