Saw the two eagles atop the tree on the Highway around 8a.m. - they are often there.
Yesterday afternoon I saw Ma (may have been Pa) Stalashen in the nest, from here it looked like Ma was moving branches around - suddenly 5 crows flew in and settled in nearby trees.

Through the telescope:
8a.m. Ma and Pa Stalashen are on a branch in the tree sitting close together.Grin

9:39a.m both are on a branch and there's another eagle in the perch tree near the top - cannot see a white head, it's hard to see detail through the telescope to give an approx. age.

Sandra, the juvie I took a pic of the other day was about 3 blocks away. Glad you got to see the eagles at Porpoise Bay Clapping we usually see one or more when we go there.

9:53a.m. Looking out of our window I saw Sitting eagleSitting eagleSitting eagle soaring along with a 4 seagulls.Smile

Good morning.
Yesterday we decided to walk through the park at Davis Bay and walked out on to the beach when we were close to Chapman Creek I spotted an eagle at the top of a tree.

We were chatting to some other people out enjoying the brisk, sunny day when one of them said there's the other one - we hadn't spotted it because it was hidden in the tree. We believe they were Ma & Pa Stalashen. Then Mr. SC spotted a blue heron in the middle of another tree nearby.
