:hello: Marg and Sandra. Love the pic that you captured of Pacer wingersizing Marg. Looking forward to seeing the little monster and Ma and Pa from the beach sometime over the long weekend.
I know you know this already, you and Mr.SC are so lucky to look out your window every morning and see an active eagles nest.
What a great way to start the day.Cloud 9

Hi Daybreak, Dawn, I sent you a pm. BTW you can stand below the Nest Tree as well as take distant shots from the beach. Thanks for stopping by Mr. SC and I are soooooo lucky to live where we do.

I looked out around 8:10a.m. set up the telescope on our deck and saw:

As I could still see them standing I hurriedly got dressed and drove down to the Stalashen nest, I was lucky they were still there but unfortunately the sun was to the left of the nest so the pics are almost black and white outlines.Sad You will get the idea of the size of Pacer now.

8:36a.m.The last picture I took was from the other side of the nest. Shortly after I took this picture the adult flew off but I saw where it went......

Drove out to Kinnickinnick Nest but saw no eagles only evidence that a bear had been there recently.Don't Panic and I was alone.

I did see an eagle at the Seaview Nest in the tree but couldn't see into the nest - may or may not be an eaglet/lets.

I did see an eagle in the Shoreline nest tree and it certainly looked like an eaglet in the nest but was unable to take a photo.(edited.....)

Ended up at Snickett Park, which they have now blacktopped the trail and saw:

waveWhat a lovely day for you, starting very early with Pacer! :thumrht: So glad you saw activity at all the nests, despite Kinnikinnick being bear! Oh My I love watching the deer antlers appear and grow in. How exciting Shoreline might have an eaglet! They were late with their 2 last year, maybe again this year. fingers crossed
I was at Stalashen nest around 4:00 today, got some shots of Pacer, parent, the inevitable crows. Will see how they turn out and post soon!

wave Good morning! A few pictures from yesterday's visit to our Stalashen nest are now ready to post. Clapping It was very exciting to approach the nest to find Pacer standing high with adult in the tree as well. Wooh Too bad they had their backs to me.

From the back side of the nest. From there Pacer wasn't visible. Sad Feathers or fur on the talons might indicate a recent feed? fingers crossed
