Good morning. Hello
Through the telescope - Stalashen Nest.
7:00a.m. As usual I could see one adult in the nest, a little later it flew out and about 5 mins later either the same one or the other eagle flew in with prey. 7:30a.m. feeding going on. I took a lot of pictures but still unable to see the chick/s - must be getting a little bigger because the adult didn't seem to be going down into the nest very far to feed.Clapping

7a.m. Through the telescope this morning I saw Ma in the Stalashen nest.
A little later Ma flew out but either Ma or Pa flew back to the nest very quickly.
One was in the nest and one on a branch.

It is a beautiful day here and the tide out so Mr. SC and I went down to Davis Bay beach.Grin We were heading down the steps when I heard someone call my name it was Sandra and David they had just returned from the Stalashen nest tree and will be posting pictures soon. Before they went to the nest they had also walked out and taken pictures from the beach. Can't wait to see your pictures Sandra. Maybe you captured a little head or heads.Don't Know

Here is one picture taken from the beach at quite a distance. (Taken around 2:15p.m.)

Good morning. 7:00a.m. I looked at the Stalashen nest through the telescope and no adult present. I watched for a while and saw them both flying around. They both returned, one to the top of the tree and the other on a branch to the right of the nest. It was the middle of May in 2010 (16th) and May 12, 2011 when we could see a tiny head in the nest so we are watching very closely.Roll eyes

Happy eagle watching.Hello

Bravo New smileys! Left thumb up
The super low tide at Davis Bay along with brilliant sun took us to the beach and then the nest on Sunday. Grin
Meeting up with Marg and Earl was unexpected and pleasant. Clapping It had been a while since we had seen them.
The water was out farther than we've ever seen in our short few years living here.

While on the beach we could see the nest tree with 1 adult brooding and the other sitting above the nest. Off we went. This shot was taken near the mailboxes approaching the nest. No little heads that I could find in my pictures Marg. Sad
