Hello Tina, nice to see you drop by. Unfortunately, I cannot see the bobbleheads when they first arrive we have to wait until they get a little bigger. I have to check the nests with cams to see wee ones.

8:18p.m. I saw one eagle in the Stalashen nest, it looked like it was at the edge bending over eating something Don't KnowPuzzled(hard to tell this far away) then it settled in and did the famous wobble.Grin

Earlier today, on the way to Halfmoon Bay, we passed the Shoreline nest but saw no eagles. As we came close to the Seaview nest we could see an adult settled in the nest 10:25a.m.

Sandra, the nest we need to find is the one on the Highway heading into the village.

What you can see through the telescope Marg certainly enhances what we see from the ground. Soon you should be able to determine that you are seeing feeding motion. Wooh
Good you saw an eagle in the Seaview nest. Building activity at Shoreline might have been too much for the adults to return to. We could watch out for another nest nearby there too. Are you thinking of finding the nest that would belong to the adults that perch in those 2 trees heading into Sechelt?

I'm happy to announce that I saw. through the telescope, Ma (Pa) Stalashen feeding a Egg Hatch bobblehead or Egg HatchEgg Hatch bobbleheads this a.m. at 9a.m.Cheerscheers I suspected that yesterday but couldn't really tell but I just happened to look while the feeding was in progress. The lighting is bad for pics through the telescope - I did take a few but does not show clearly enough to post.Laugh

Wooh I was just hitting post reply here when your email came through Marg! So eggciting! Pictures not necessary for this Stalashen nest fan. Just reading the good news is enough for today!
Well done Stalashen parents! ClappingClappingClapping
We'll be basically on the same timeline as Whiterock. It will be interesting to watch them grow on cam and relate what we are seeing from the ground and through your telescope. Left thumb up

Brilliant news, Marg.

It's going to be interesting with so many nests hatching at the same time - we can compare notes Grin

Hi Pat, nice to see you here you know the nest well.Grin

We went down to the nest tree and walked from the parking lot at Davis Bay. When we got to Mission Road we could see the nest from the corner of the first road on the left (near the mailboxes) so I took a distant shot from here. Click 2X

We spoke to a neighbour a few houses down and she said that she had been by the nest tree and she heard more than one chick vocalizing.ClappingClapping We continued on down the road took a few more pics and walked right to the tree but heard nothing - they probably were sleeping.Grin As we got to the end of the road we could hear adults vocalizing and Ma or Pa were both there one in the nest one on a branch. The following pictures were taken from quite a distance.
