Yes, Sandra it does look like Pa. Thank you for the pictures, that's happened to me before it only takes a second to look another way and you miss a fly out.
I saw one in the nest this morning around 8 and one is on a branch beside the nest right now 3:03p.m.

Marg, it's happened to me many times in the past. A few years ago I missed getting some pics of the Brentwood Bay eagles mating because some very nice people stopped to chat. When he told me he was the manager of L.B. Crane Co., which is the company that has provided the crane service at the Sidney nests, I forgot about being annoyed and got into a discussion about using their services, because the school district I worked for had used them many times and had nothing but good things to say about them.

So waiting to see one staying in the nest.

We look numerous times during the day but the nest is not occupied most of the time yeeeeet, will let you know as soon as we see that happening.


Kay, it's nice for us to talk to neighbours etc. but that's the problem we can't fully concentrate on the eagles.

19:12a.m. one eagle sitting in the Stalashen nest, will keep an eye on this today - maybe something is going on it's getting around that time......

Not a good day for picture taking but we went down to the Stalashen Nest and saw one above the nest, don't think I've ever seen one of them sitting here, look above the nest and near where the V of the trunk starts. It was quite windy.
I lightened the pic a bit as it was hard to see the eagle.
