Trying this again, this time I took a pic with my camera. Arrgggh, and as i am trying to do this, another osprey landed in the nest. The first one was mantling and the other flew off. But now "she" is making little chirping noises as if calling to the other, not the angry calls they make when defending the nest, so I am hoping this is the mate. Keeping my fingers crossed here! Mare, here is how to post a picture to the forum. Ignore the spaces between, you do this with no spaces in between:

[ file ] 1 [/file]

Then click the browse button at the bottom and select your picture. If it still doesn't work it might be the format you saved your pictures as! Good luck!

I think I figured it out...the pics were too large, trying again. Here's the second osprey...

Good Morning Hellgate! Good Mornng Darlene, Mare and All!

There has been a lot of activity at the nest. Mom has been doing a lot of nestorations. I am amazed at the large branches and sticks that she is carrying in.

Here's a couple from yesterday showing Mom postioning the branches.

Good morning Jean, it is a wet morning there this morning. No sign of Osprey since I turned the cam on! Sorry to hear about the loss of the Dunedin baby.

Good Morning Darlene. One of the ospreys was here this morning but I didn't get a s'cape as I was busy with the Dunedin nest. Thanks.... that was yet another sad loss for our wildlife so early in the season!
Prayers that this nest has a good season and all the eggs laid, hatch and chicks fledge!

Female arrived, moved a few pices of bark and then left.
