A little windy there today.

It's nice to see that Mom has made it back safe and sound. Now for Dad to return!

Here's the video I captured of the Osprey return yesterday. She came back in a few minutes and stayed at the nest for well over 20 minutes. She was moving sticks around, going belly down in the nest, and also kept watching for Dad. Never saw him at the nest, so I'm not sure if he has returned. It certainly won't be long before the nest is busy!

Good Morning Hellgate! Good Morning All!


The weather looks a little nicer at the nest area today.

I did catch our female at the nest once again yesterday. At least I think it's the female with the beading on the neck. She arrived at the nest and was there for about 2 minutes watching for her mate to come and also moving a few sticks around. I have several s'capes of her that I didn't have time to post yesterday, so now I'll do a little catch up. So good to see she made it back. I am hoping with a little nicer weather today we'll see both there!
