Our pair was in the nest at about 5 PM nest time


They worked side by side moving sticks for a while



Feathers in the nest...they must have had a bird for dinner

I tired to get the cam but no luck will keep trying.

Afternoon Davenport

I tuned in to find one of the adults in the nest.....then both were in the nest side by side. They are some beautiful

255 pm
Arrival to the nest; looks windy there as Dad hunkers down to
shield self from the wind at times

Then there were two....

3pm
Mom and Dad
Their coats gently brushed by the wind at times.

Dad seemed eager to do a bit of yard work whereas Mom was content
just to hang out abit.


304 pm

305 pm
One of the adults exits the nest and one remains.


310 pm
Nest is empty again.

345 pm
Nest is empty.

There is a wind warning in effect in the nest area till January 2 2012


Current weather conditions and the outlook for the next few days

Both adults back at the nest now; a couple of nips exchanged too.



This nest looks a wee bit small as they do a bit of work in the bowl.

608 to 610 pm
The wind gently brushes their head feathers
at times




Then poof they are both gone again.

615 pm
It is getting dark at the nest now.

Davenport see you all tomorrow; Ma and Pa stay safe and do not celebrate too much
