Dad tucking stuff in around himself



It's later and starting to get dark--Dad wants Mom to come back..NOW!



Playing with his corn husk while he waits just like a puppy with a toy--shaking it back and forth

Dad was having a really great time playing with his "toy"



Then he is got up and rolled the egg while he was waiting.

Mom appears to have a couple of bent feathers



Settled in for the night

We have a special Valentine from Mom Davenport.....egg #2 at 1:30 cst.

I do not have a pic though I have seen both parents at the nest and an egg roll since #2's arrival. Elf has a video coming. That corn husk has been quite a toy, Mary. It is still there.

When dad exited from 2 grasses went all over mom.

3:37 Mom is cheeping and cheeping. Dad is incoming with a fish. After he calls to her he eats and she is up and exits the nest.


3:38 Dad continues to eat.


3:39 He looks over at the eggs, but keeps eating.

4:33 to 5:44 There was a lot of calling from the nest and answering from nearby. I did not witness a switch.

7:00 Mom is settled facing 12/1. Her head is down and she appears to be resting.

The eagles have been giving each other a break off and on all day. It has been quiet when I have checked in. AT 4:30 it began to rain.

About 11:30AM--Mom was listening to and watching crows. They were VERY loud and may have been in the nest tree and later were flying around.



About 1:15-- Calling Dad..needs a break!



She gets up to stretch and wait for Dad.
