3:30 to 3:40 parent is up and digging in the nest bowl. I saw the egg before the parent moved over it as it dug in the nest. The parent settled to incubate at 3:37. I did get a peek at the egg under the parent.

About 1PM nest time---At this time there is still only one egg! These scaps are all from between 1PM and 1:35PM


Dad arrives with a long skinny stick...Mom didn't look too pleased



The two birds were talking softly with Dad nearly sitting on big girl. Mom



Mom leaves to give Dad a turn and to stretch a bit.

It took Dad a while to settle on the egg...he was busy redecorating.



After a short turn he starts to call Mom...just like a man!

I missed her return but Mom is back on the nest and now it's snowing and the wind has picked up. I'm not sure about the nest fluff on her back.

These are from just before and just after 3PM nest time.....


I tuned in to find a naked little egg in the snow



Mom flew in pretty quickly



She fixed the bowl, rolled the egg,

And settled back down on the egg...sitting pretty in the snowfall



A short time later Dad bombed into the nest landing partly on Mom and dropping a corn husk on her...silly Dad. He flew off right away.
