Donna Thanks for bringing the link to the video here; I just watched part of the video (buffered bad at least for me) and what a beautiful speckled coat that juvie has...interesting how she was doing nestorations in the nest bowl too bet the resident birds were not pleased

I did catch one of the parents at home for a short time this afternoon. I think it was Mom but not 100% sure.

I don't know how long she had been there but here she is snuggled down in the nest bowl.

I had a third scap but it has disappeared...I will look for it tomorrow!

Mom at the nest at about 1PM or so. She spent over an hour just standing on the edge of the nest looking around her realm.

A quite deep nest bowl has been dug.

Early morning visitor. My snapper finger was not fast enough but I did catch the tail view as it exited from 8.

It is foggy here so not much chance of the groundhog seeing his shadow.

Nice morning visit from both eagles. One was in nest moving sticks. The other came in with new straw and began beaking the other. They dug in the nest and moved bedding around and then one left. The other stayed for about 4 minutes and then exited from 7.

12:41 Both eagles are at the nest. The one on the close up branch is blocking our view of the other. THis could be a problem when we are trying to watch hatches and eaglets.
