It is now 2:37pm. The wind is picking up. One adult on the nest. The nest pole is swaying in the wind. The adult is standing on the rim of the bowl trying to keep balance as the wind blows. The bowl looks deep now. Hmmm.

Hi Cal, She does seem really chatty, especially today! Chatty Cathy is a suitable name indeed!
Wonder what's on her mind that makes her vocal today?
Right now she is looking up a lot. Would she be looking for lunch?
Wouldn't it be cool if we could click on the picture to move it around the dam area....the area around the dam I mean? Then we could see what she is looking at! You know...like google earth.
Dad just flew in. Guess she had her eyes on him.

Thank you Peggy, So good to see Mom lying in the nest!
Jude, you mentioned my avatar. Thank you and your new avatar is awesome; so artistic.
Looks like we've all got new avatar's this year.
Peggy, looking at your avatar brings back some heart-in-throat-heart-in-stomach memories for me from last year. I kept all the videos I recorded of those days. Let's just hope that none of that osprey v.s. eagle is part of this year's scenario. I had not given it a thought until I looked at your avatar.

7:22am Nestorations going on by one adult.
Good morning Cal, My avatar was a painting I did of a snowy owl on a piece of slate. It was done using white acrylic paint only. Avatars are so small that I only had room for the head!
I remember the eagle attacking the nest last year too. After all "Tiny" osprey went through last year he was big enough to have faced that eagle when it swooshed over the nest. That was totally amazing!
I'm so thankful they all made it!!!!
I'm finding that the webcam screen goes black after several minutes. Does that happen to anyone else?
